Just to parrot everyone else in this thread... just, wow. Absolutely an incredible fabric. There are many companies that do heavyweight denim but IH stands out as the best, and this fabric is another example. If you're debating and it shows up in your size, I'd pick it up (especially the OD version).

Great comparison shots, thanks for sharing. Only other OD piece I have is my 19oz lefty OD, for sure way different than that. The lefty type 111 is a beast, but I love it. This new CPO is just so great, looks and feels amazing. I sized up one as well, was little worried to big. But wore it around my apartment for like hour and fitting perfectly. The temptation to start wearing it now is too much lol, idk if can hold off as original planned. “The wait is the hardest part” I think officially have to many IH CPOs, type 3s and westerns to break in few few years now, one hellva a drug

Just left Self Edge SF and they have an OD one that came back in XXXL. Too large for me. I’m usually an XXL. Agreed with what everyone else is saying, this OD material is incredible.

Just noticed a small difference on this shirt vs all my other cpos. There's an extra side seam! Curious how much this'll improve mobility. We'll see come fall.

@catdad1 Mine does not have an extra seam like the one in your photo. What size is yours? Mine is XXL...

@Oaktavia ah good point. I sized up to XXXL on this one. My 292, 385, and 422 are also XXXL and don't have the second side seam so it must be a larger size thing on these.

I only have one XXXL CPO and it's a 227. No extra side seam.

For anyone that is looking for an OD in XL unfortunately mine did not fit me to my liking so its on its way back to LA. Worth an email to see if they can hold it for you. I have measurements of that shirt the IH way if anyone is curious shoot me a DM!

The denim ended up being slightly narrower than our normal selvedge denims and so whole back pieces of 3/4XL couldn’t be cut, SE has the choice to cancel them or add another seam, and they chose the latter
