Over the past few years, demand for Iron Heart has continued to grow, which is something we are incredibly grateful for. At the same time, producing our clothing to the standards we insist on has become increasingly challenging, and many of you will have noticed that certain items sell out quickly and take longer than usual to return.

Our priority has always been, and remains, to protect the integrity, quality, and longevity of Iron Heart. To achieve this, we have been making several adjustments behind the scenes. These changes are being made carefully and deliberately, with one clear goal: to ensure Iron Heart remains here, producing the best products possible, for many years to come.

As part of this work, you may see some changes to where Iron Heart is available. In some regions, fewer retailers will be carrying the brand than before. This is not about exclusivity or creating hype; it is about reducing pressure on our partners in Japan and building a more stable, sustainable network of suppliers where Iron Heart can be showcased in its best light — and, hopefully, with improved stock availability compared with what we currently have.

We are not, and will never, compromise on quality, cut corners, or manipulate supply. Quite the opposite: every decision we’re making is focused on protecting the health and future of the brand.

Important Information | US Import Tariff Changes

As many of our US-based customers will know, as of April 9th, 2025 (to the best of our knowledge as it stands at the time of writing), any goods imported into the United States will be subject to increased import tariffs.

We are still working to understand the upcoming changes, but as of this email, we’ve been advised that the de minimis value for importing goods (currently set at US$800) will remain in place for goods of Japanese and UK origin.

Any shipments over this value will be subject to additional import tariffs for goods of Japanese origin, of 24%. Please rest assured that any order shipped with a value under the US$800 de minimis threshold should not incur these additional duties.

As we receive more information, we will be shipping customer orders as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to ease any concerns you may have (until further notice). This means that if any additional duties are incorrectly incurred, they will be charged back to Iron Heart, and we will handle customs brokerage ourselves to resolve the issue, rather than putting the burden on you, the customer.

We will send out more updates as we understand the pending tariff changes and how they will affect our customers in the US.

@TallTalk have you got some specific examples of ones you have been disapointed by? I just checked a fair few randomly, and the inseam on them all was between 35 and 37, which is sort of where we have always ben inseam wise, in my time
