For those of you wondering who has the sample...

This 21oz CPO will be getting all of my attention. I will be posting here regularly, as I did with the IHSH-409 Sample from two summers ago. I am going to give this thing absolute Hell over the next year and document it all here, your favorite forum.

First impressions are that this thing is built the Iron Heart way. Impressive off the bat, heavy as Hell, yet soft and super comfortable. I really love the way 21oz looks unwashed as it fades initially, so I plan to keep this thing dry as practically possible.

So stoked to start this one! Thank you @Alex and the Stubborn Crew at IH for making this happen. I love Iron Heart! Let's go!

Here you can see the sleeves are wet as I have been setting the creases. I highly recommend using a spray mister bottle (like for plants) to dampen areas that will crease. It helps a ton with creating intricate fold patterns on the inner arms.

@dcw2740 same as all of my denim: soak in warm water and detergent for an hour in a utility sink or tub inside out. Straight to the washer using regular cotton cycle. No spin for new denim and low spin for denim that has been washed a handful of times. Hang dry preferably in the sun on a warm day if possible.

@J-IV I can see the faint marker lines where the numbers were, but the previous owner must have washed them a few times. I can just barely read the "200" but I can't make out the actual number ___/200. I will take a photo in the daylight tomorrow or when I get a chance and see if it appears better on my phone.

@northsouthdenimguy ah I see, so it's a matter of question if they find out it was delivered. Fingers crossed for you.

@J-IV thanks for sharing these photos! Your pair is looking most excellent, that is for sure. I have the Type 2 jacket in the slubby denim, (the 507) that I totally enjoyed fading a couple years ago. But something about this particular collab pair just takes it over the edge in unique awesomeness. I wore my pair to work today as a test run and they are so sick. I think they have replaced my summer break pair over the 21oz white ones.

@GoodtimeJohnny hell yeah dude! It's the best frickin denim in the universe. Pairs well with that olive as well.

@Anesthetist I sized up with these just to see if I could pull it off (only one available on eBay of course). I used to prefer sizing up and still dig it with some jeans. It's nice to have a variety of similar sizes. With that said, they feel a tad wider than my tts 888s. They are in a hot wash now. Not expecting any shrinkage, just want then ultra clean and to tighten up the cotton fibers a bit. They felt good straight away though so I'm stoked. I was planning on wrecking my pair of 21oz 634 white denim during summer break but idk man these slubbies be singin to me.

I can't quite make out the number in the pocket bag though. I'll take a photo and post it here. Perhaps other eyes are keener than mine.

@J-IV yo your pair looks so sick dude. I love the way these have faded. I finally got my hands on a pair. They are currently on my front porch waiting for me.
