If I had to choose just one size of my sub watches, I would definitely go with the my 43 mm 50th Anniversary Sea Dweller. To me that one is the perfect size.

I haven’t worn this one in a little while. It’s such a beast when you first put it on, but honestly, within a few minutes I get pretty used to it and barely notice it.

Sorry to hear all that. I know it’s tough. I know this is all cliché, but take some time for yourself. Do things you enjoy doing and don’t get wrapped up in drowning your sorrows in alcohol or other things. Obviously, I don’t know your whole situation or what you’re able to do, but one regret I had after getting divorced was how complacent I became. I got stuck doing the same things over and over, not really getting out and experiencing life until I met my current wife. Looking back, there were a lot of lost days and weekends that I’ll never get back.

Also, don’t rush into anything. Really think about what you want out of life and what you want in another person. Nobody’s perfect, but I think you should have some definite deal breakers when it comes to certain things. Or maybe that’s just me. Anyway, that’s about all I’ve got. Life is tough, and relationships can be even tougher sometimes.

I generally look at waist and thigh measurements when buying 666s or 634s. I don’t think I’ve ever paid much attention to the rise, but in my experience, a size 38 in the 634 feels like it has a slightly higher rise than a size 38 in the 666, regardless of what the actual measurements say.

Sometimes I think measurements, whether it’s jeans or shirts, don’t always tell the whole story about how something actually fits and feels. Obviously, none of this helps you one bit, but that’s just been my personal experience.

Utterly and completely different. One is a lightweight corduroy, while the other is a double-faced indigo fabric, almost like a twill. At 7.5oz versus 14oz, the difference is substantial. The heavier fabric definitely feels like it weighs twice as much.
