Wow, this trip looks awesome. I need to get on another 14 hour flight to Japan, asap.

Love the shots of all the cut pattern pieces, and videos of the pockets being assembled. Made me go and look at the rear pockets on my jeans to appreciate the precision. I've been in cut and sew world building garments for some stage productions here the last couple of weeks, so it was nice seeing all the pieces for the jeans.

@Giles @Alex do you speak Japanese? I'm curious how you navigate the culture. I've always wanted to visit Japan but the language barrier has kept me from making the trip.

@Alex speaks Japanese pretty well, and it certainly makes things a lot easier.

But I've been coming here for 25 years and speak virtually no Japanese.

Don't let mere trifles get in the way of doing amazing things.
