definitely not good beer
we have a big asparagus area between Bremen and Hannover , and quality and taste are among or maybe even the best in Germany it says. I always take the slimmer ones as they are better in my opinion. I cook the cut offs for hours with a little lemon , butter and little sugar and salt of course. In that stock I cook the asparagus, it definitely improves the taste a lot !! I freeze the stock afterwards and use it every time during the asparagus season. And finally you can make an awesome asparagus cream soup out of it
