@ShopatIronHeart Hey everyone. Would you advise to size the uhr same as my XHSib if I want to end up with a similar fit after the wash and soak before wearing them first ? From what I see the waist starts out bigger and that is the only measurement I am nervous about.

@FlavourFade Possibly, waist shrink/stretch is similar. But i'd say its worth waiting until the size chart is updated before making any decisions on tag size, you may find that waist size is different on this latest run

Is the consensus to soak/wash these before wear to “shrink to fit”?

@gneicher. Absolutely. Those are raw. Unsanforized and unwashed. You will need to get the shrinkage out of them

To the best of our knowledge, this will be the final run. We want to keep making it, but we have been told that it maybe too hard. I would plan on this being the last, if you want a pair.

Sizing help with shrink/stretch...looking at one of the previous shrink results tables, looks like average shrink is about +/-0.25inches in dimensions besides waist and length.

Would those experienced with UHR agree they get similar shrinkage? Also, what is your experience with waist stretching beyond original raw size in UHR? My 21s I got 1.5" stretch, 14s 2" stretch, and XHS beyond original waist (haven't measured)

@rimaarts I buy the pair with the waist measurement closest to my desired end measurement. For example, if I want an end measurement (after they’ve stretched) of 35” then I look for a posted measurement that is as close to that measurement as possible.

Yes they will shrink but they will stretch back out with time and wear (waist). The other areas will stretch some (except for inseam length).

From what I get from this, the posted waist measurement is FINAL, as it will not stretch more from this measurement.

@wjw yeah you don't need to worry about the waist going too far past the starting point. I have always advised starting with your ideal waist measurement from the start.
