21oz Sashiko work shirt, duck hunter cargo pants and Nick’s Urban Loggers

It’s cold enough to wear the N1 today.
Also wearing the black wabash CPO and Duck 666s.

Wife and I are right outside of Asheville, NC, pretty much on top of a mountain. The last pic is when we leave our neighborhood and the view of the town below.

6’0 tall/175 lbs and I ordered an XXL.
With all my 21oz jackets, I size up to layer with heavyweight hoodies. I’m wearing a t-shirt, 14oz American Giant zip up and then the jacket. The roomy sleeves are perfect for a thick hoodie and I still have full swing on the arms and can button it up all the way.
This is a solid jacket, and I’m stoked I grabbed it when it came online for purchase.
Side note: it’s supposed to be 70 degrees this coming week, so it won’t get too much use.
Also pictured is the 17 oz Duck 634s.

This goes well with the Nike SB Dunks Hailey Wilsons that dropped earlier this year!
@sabergirl , with the price being paid for these garments: Yes.
I have a second job in retail, and see all kinds of nonsense from Levis. When paying literally tenfold for an IH shirt, you have expectations. Mine has the pocket misalignment issue, but not to the point where it slows me down from tossing it on, but I can see where it would upset others.
Update: I went through my closet and I already own a pair of these.
This is also a sign I own too much IH.
I had to sneak out of a courtroom to grab this.
Got done with a hot soak of about 45 minutes and washed them on the "warm" setting with no spin.
Wife asked what was washing in the machine. I stated "just some jeans". Her reply: "Are you washing ALL of them", when I told her it was just two pairs she rolled her eyes. I hung them to dry in the downstairs shower to dry overnight.
I hung them out on the porch this morning so they could dry in the sun, and when I got home from work, I tried both pairs on.
Fucking PERFECT fits.
I'd like to extend a "Thank you" to all of you who have contributed good info over the years as to how to properly size these and account for shrinkage.
I'm on vacation this week and the weather has finally cooled to where I can out these on for a full day.
I put them on and came downstairs.
Wife: What are you walking like that?
Me: These are the new IH UHF that I just got awh
Wife cuts me off mid sentence: Those look terribly stiff and uncomfortable, and I don't want to hear you bitching later on. You did this to yourself.
So, I have no one to complain to, so I'm reaching out to everyone for sympathy.
@Phil_NYC , goddamn, those are beautiful.
They should fit properly brand new.
When soaked/washed, they will shrink roughly 1 inch in the waist. With wear, they will stretch out to their "brand new" measurement. They will not stretch past their pre-shrink measurement.
When I ordered my UHFs, I ordered my usual 888 size. When recieved, the waist fit just like all my other pairs. When they shrunk, I had to really struggle to get the upper buttons fastened. After about an hour or so of wear/walking, they were back to their pre-shrink fit and were very comfortable.
If your brand new/dry/not soaked pair is too big now, they will be too big later.
@Bobcat-Sig , I'm anxious to hear of the updates.
My OD arrived today.
It's a bit slimmer in the body, but everything else is great.
I went the same size as the rest of my type IIIs.
They should fit well pre-soak, as they won't stretch back out any further than they are now.
Got mine today, and it's beautiful.
I am feeling the sleeve from the cuff to the elbow feels more snug than any other CPO I have. Everything else is perfect.
@brently said in IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Black:
XL in the 18oz vintage and 16oz black super black fades to gray CPO. I usually wear them with just a tee shirt but sometimes a hoodie. (Although it’s a little snug with a hoodie.) Can’t decide if the XL will be too small in this or if the XXL will be too big. The two I have fit perfectly but I feel like they are right in between the XL and XXL for this drop. I also have the 19oz od from SE in XXL but bought it a little bigger because of length. That looks a little big on my unless I have a hoodie on underneath it.
I'd go with the XXL for layering.
Mine arrived yesterday, ordered my usual size and hem. Put them on and they are perfect.
The 18 0z. was my first denim several years ago in the 666 cut, and man, the way it fades is just special.
Everyone needs at least one pair in this fabric.

@VegaS10 So it’s ok for me to have 2 then? I guess I’ll have to get this one. (Please validate me).
You need this.
