The long hair is gone. Quickly got my camera and light for this.
This was accidental. A result of bad judgement. I was supposed to get my hair cut to shoulder length. And the initial cut was good!
Then I thought I could go shorter. That was a big mistake. I couldn’t walk out into public looking like a Polly Pocket figure. So pre-pandemic haircut it is!

Bonus update!
Finally gave my competition denim its first wash! I had to take advantage of the current heatwave, so this dried within a few hours.
While it doesn’t look like much of a change, the texture/feel in the faded and unfaded areas are awesome! The faded parts are a lot smoother than the unfaded parts.
I have to admit, this pair definitely looks better in person than in pictures :p. I’m pretty happy with how they’re coming along, so far.

Just arrived. Oh how I've forgotten what fresh heavyweight denim feels like! It was a struggle to quickly try them on.
Looks good, feels like fresh heavyweight denim should, waist is pretty much on point. Now into storage they go for now!
Had issues with uploading raw proof. But got an email stating that they did get my submission (apparently 4 of them) and am good to go.
That being said... My competition denim.

Wild that this pair is competing.

Had to break this out from the archives.
xx-010 Purple Face denim. Got it in 2016 and have worn it sparingly. Now that I'm rotating through denim, it's getting its chance to shine.

I'd love to see a phone case pouch using 21oz denim.
I currently have this lovely pouch from Momotaro Denim and it's getting somewhat close to end of life. Maybe something close to this?

@will6er Big reason, because it's cool (for me anyways).
Also, I do open a fair amount of packages, envelopes, and cut the occasional tag, so it's pretty convenient to have on me.
If anyone's interested, they're having Scratch 'n' Dent event. The second's page is being updated somewhat frequently.
I managed to grab a tote bag for the brief time it was there.

@IH-GARY a seam ripper will make removing the arcs real easy! I did that for another brand's arcs years ago. Took about 10 minutes max.
I believe in you if that's what you want to do!
@Steve I was already smitten with the indigo option, but black too!??! This might be a tough one.
@Lynne I'm totally glad I ran into this update! My wallet is giving me an evil look, but I'll live.
@dwils I had a similar wait time with my current competition pair. I figure it won't be as bad.
@dwils UHR purchaser here.
Since this will be my Y6 Indigo Invitational competition pair, I'll try them on real quick and then put them away, tags on. It's a struggle waiting almost a year to wear them in and stuff, but I can handle it.
