@Oaktavia I have the "benefit" of not being a drinker anyhow. for the last decade I was a beer or 2 per week and never drunk. But I just found that there was no benefit to even having 1. I end up just falling asleep and feeling run down the next morning. It didn't long for me to lose the urge to have a beer on a Friday or Saturday night.

@flannel-slut Congratulations my friend, I understand very well how you feel, for me it has not been easy and it still is not but I hold on if not for myself for all my loved ones who have paid as much or more than me for all my addictions

A colleague asked me today for “the name of the clothing company I like” – apparently her husband needs some new jeans. Not sure if it will lead to anything, but it’s the first time this has happened to me. I only get to wear jeans to the office 2 or 3 times a year, so they must have made an impression!
