Out and about earlier today with @GraemeE
First stop - brekkie at Broder

Obviously a quick dig session at Crossroads

@GraemeE in his natural element and of course an IH hang isn’t complete without a surprise guest. This time it was @Jett129

Big ups to Graeme for the company! Hope to return the hospitality in the future
This place never disappoints. Hog Island, Tomales Bay

633s-18 oz before they take another bath.

This was calling me today - spreading love to my IH Family

Yup still out here. Close to two years worth of wear and a handful of washes

Couple flicks with my partners family doing what they do on their free time. I prefer the surf. Was fun regardless

Hard to follow-up after all those dudes^^

IronHeart (52, PIH15, WE-FP6), a Warehouse T, and some GAH
Had me do a double take. Works Inc store would be sickk

Finished reading Kaplan’s 3 Shades of Blue. Making me revisit some records I’ve lost some interest in.

@Oaktavia oh yeah I’m very familiar with your Type2 - one of my favorites. I use it as a reference for folks when asking how the denim will fade.
I think all the little details of these jeans make it so siick. The pocket bags, the back pocket design, the W placement. Does yours have a number? I remember Haraki signing these when they came out
Pronto patch, Lee inspired pockets, W

Hickory striped pockets, two tone chainstitch back panel

Combs and thangs

Color is less accurate here, was trying to capture the texture. So much slub

@Oaktavia ahh thanks dude!
Excited to see how you’ll fade these things. The fabric is so unique, has a ton of character. The fading reminds of kasuri fabric. I’ll try to take some flicks tomorrow under the sun for ya
Almost forgot - the Hachioji store has odd hours sometimes. Check their website to see if they’re open on the day you’re hoping to visit.
Have fun dude!
That’s exciting!! I hear Niigata during this time is like a winter wonderland.
To echo what was mentioned, the Tokyo Iron Heart shop is technically in Hachioji which is sort of the western border of Tokyo metro proper. With that said, I personally did not find it too cumbersome to venture out there. I left from Shinjuku station and getting to the Hachioji station was pretty manageable (heavily relying on Google Maps and this thread). The bus ride from the station was probably the most difficult part. Once you get to the store, the staff are super cool and even offer to help you get a ride from the store to the train station. It was like a hour and a half from to get there from what I remember. If you make it out there, Hachioji has their own style of ramen that is worth trying if you’re a fan of onions (they add a bunch).
As thrift/ antique shops, I found the Shimokitazawa neighborhood and especially Tokyo Flea Markets to be a diggers paradise. I found some really cool vintage Seikos, camera gear, and WWII era clothes. Do bring cash though and check online on for when the Flea Markets are held. And knowing basic Japanese wouldn’t hurt either.
Just want to say this jacket has been my most worn IH piece last year. It has held up to many rain days. And the versatility is unmatched.
I really hope we see more of this type of jacket in the future - so underrated
^^Pablo’s Theme Song is such a slap, which isn’t saying much as the entire album slaps. Sold my copy which was shredded well loved.
Reached for this one today

Wowow! It looks like it was made for you @sabergirl !
Congrats!
Don’t make the mistake I did and visit the town Beaverton thinking this is where all the furry builders live. I, in fact, did not see any beavers. Though I did gulp my share of great beers. Cheers and thanks for sharing @GraemeE need to make my way out there again
One could easily mistaken this as a Johnny Coles record. Tina and him go back to back on this. All the Tina Brooks LP on Tone Poets are must haves if you ask me
