And the person who can only afford one or two things a year probably isn’t in a hurry to spend more money so a voucher doesn’t help them at all. That doesn’t mean they’re not good customers. But if you’re spending several thousands per year and helping @Alex keep the lights on year in and year out then an extra $50 isn’t go to make or break anyone and it keeps the whales spending while letting them know they’re “loyalty” is appreciated.

It’s really sad this thread turned into what it did but equally as sad is how predictable it was.

Also if you’re buying every $400 shirt that comes out a season why are you crying about not getting your $50 gift card. If you’re that hard up maybe take a personal finance class at the community college.

I personally hate the vouchers. It encourages me to spend money I don’t have just to save money on stuff don’t need. It was certainly a nice gesture and fortunately I was able to read the context correctly and never mention it here.
