Made it out to the LA shop about 10 minutes after opening. I had my eyes on the prize and was able to snag both items that I wanted; Indigo CPO and Indigo 633. The OD CPO looked and felt amazing, and it was hard to resist the temptation. Fortunately, they ran out of my size.

I figured some of you would like to see some shots of the CPO, so I took some quick photos. The 633 are getting hemmed, so I’ll take photos of those when I get them back.

Got to meet and chat with @Giles, @Alex, @kiya, and Demitra. Picked up some free goodies. Drank some drinks. Overall, I had a great time at the party.

@Fadez I’m 5’9” at 175 pounds. I tried on the large first. It fit well, but the arms were a bit tight. So I tried the Extra Large, and that one fit very comfortably. The sleeves are a bit long, but I’m fine with cuffing them. It’s a fitted look, which is my preference.

I’ve never actually measured myself with a tape measurer, but I find that tops with ~19” chest and ~43-44” shoulder measurements work best for me.

@Oaktavia I’d say out of the few different denim pieces I have (21IB, XHSIB, SBG, SLBOD), these are probably the most coarse and hairy. It’s quite comfortable from the very first wear, although not as buttery soft as the SLBOD. The denim is going to fade beautifully.

The CPO overall is definitely hefty. But this is my first experience with any CPOs, so I’m not sure if that’s just the “overbuilt” nature of the CPO.

My apologies if this wasn’t very helpful. My knowledge and vocabulary with denim isn’t very strong.

What can I say, this Denim is amazing and I’m so stoked to have been able to snag a piece in each the indigo and the overdyed varieties! I was initially most excited about the CPO, and don’t get me wrong, It’s incredible, but the OD type iii is so freaking sleek! Here are some photos of each individually, and layered to see both together! Also curious if folks can comment on how much the CPO will shrink in a cold soak. I gambled on the size, and I was fine with it being a little large and wearing it like a shacket, but the length is definitely something I would like to see shrink a little bit. Short torso guy here, so it’s just an issue for me, but a very small one at that! I love these pieces!

@MSav32323 can't really help with the shrinking advice but those photos are great!!! Thanks for sharing! Fabric looks amazing and the layering looks so good.

I have to imagine you'd be able to bring in the length at least a bit with a hot wash and hot dry? Just thinking how the OD process does that and that's a hot process from what I understand.

With my experience even the od shinks a bit over time with a few washes.

I remembered seeing the twill-lined cuffs and collar in the details, but the CPO doesn’t actually have it (or at least the one I got doesn’t). Anyone out there get one with twill-lining?

@caithangkhanh Appreciate the info. That makes me feel better about my sizing choice. I went XXL - 6’ 180. Thinking I too will probably need to cuff the sleeves but want a nice and comfortable fit.

@MSav32323 based on what the sizing chart was looking like between the indigo vs OD - At least .25 in all dimensions. Prob got a little extra in length. I will most likely need to give mine some water treatment too. I’ll measure if I do.

@MSav32323 Probably a detail that was present in pre-production samples that never made it to the final product. I dont see it on any product photos but it would have been a hot detail for sure!

@Oaktavia the past two orders I’ve had from SE took 3 to 4 days to get to Georgia from San Francisco but these weren’t crazy releases either. Glad you were able to get one homie.

@Oaktavia mine shipped Saturday and it's showing delivery Thursday at the moment but it's already left the regional point near me so honestly I think it'll get delivered tomorrow, I'm in Dallas FWIW

@Fadez yeah the length on my particular size large are 1.25” longer than the listed measurements which is unfortunately a lot longer than I hoped for (I was hoping I’d get one slightly shorter than listed). Makes me wonder if I should’ve gone with a medium after all. Oh well, hopefully a regular cold soak can take some of that length off, and if not turn to warmer Waters. I would just hate to lose this indigo right off the bat.
