"I purchased this Iron Heart piece (IH-292-IND) from Grailed approximately three years ago. This item was practically new with no signs of distress or soaks from the previous owner. Moreover, this jacket holds a special place in my wardrobe as my first heavyweight denim jacket.

During its three year run, I've worn this piece five times a week on average (with intermittent breaks during heat waves and winter months). The jacket has patinaed nicely along the sleeves and pockets, exceeding my initial expectation. I will continue to keep this beast in periodic rotation but, sadly, it will receive less wear given competing jackets in my wardrobe. Hence, I'm posting this now to bookmark the end of its tenure as my go-to jacket for all under the sun."

Another wash. I love these pants/material and to be honest I'm a bit surprised there aren't a lot of people putting work into the 21oz serge stuff that dropped last winter. These things are fade monsters.

Gosh dang it. I wish IH would bring back a hickory stripe or Wabash hat again someday. Hell, any ballcap hat. They are always so dope.

I'm sorry to come on here and complain because I love my pair of Samurais and everything I've seen from them in person has been really good quality, but has anyone else noticed how awful their product photos can be sometimes? I feel like everytime they post a picture on their Instagram of a cool, exciting new piece they never give me a full frame shot to see the fit, instead we get a bunch of weird angles and zoom ins on certain details. Just let me see what the whole damn product looks like! Drives me bonkers. Rant over

I didn't keep track, but maybe 3-4 days a week doing landscaping (minus the hot ass summer months) for a little over a year. My usual system is to wear a piece for as long as I can then wash it regularly, maybe every 3 weeks or so. I think the tricotine benefits a lot from frequent washing but thats just me.

Here's my Tricotine, just snapped these photos. Maybe it'll inspire someone to get one and beat the tar out of it. haven't worn it much at all in the last 6 months or so but still one of my favorite pieces

@Chibs I like how tenuin phrased it, the Tricotine is kind of like a flannel on steroids whereas the CPO is more tough workwear. Much more obvious that it is a denim shirt whereas the Tricotine isn't denim so it kind of blends into other outfits a bit more seamlessly if that makes sense. My partner would be more agreeable with me wearing the Tricotine to a nicer dinner spot on a date night for example. Though I couldn't say for certain cause I don't have a 21oz Untucked yet! But I plan on grabbing it whenever it drops

I am also biased because I love my Tricotine and have faded the shit out of it so I'm pretty proud of it

@Chibs kind of depends on what you're looking for. Tricotine will crock and fades like crazy. The 21oz untucked will be a slow burn. Untucked is gonna be better fitted and arguably more badass looking but less versatile IMO. Really up to you.

Thrifted this wool western shirt. It's super fitted and a bit long, fits like an Ship John in my opinion. But the best part (other than the price) is the tag. Thank you bad ass grannie, wherever you are out there. I appreciate it very much!

@Mister_Brue I think the fading is fantastic! It's not high contrast but that's kinda to be expected with 10oz? I think the more vintage fades will look sick as hell and it's rare to see them in Iron Heart gear. I expect this thing to be bone white by the time you're done with it. I'm stoked to watch this baby evolve
