Glad everyone likes the denim so much. Truly I think it's one of the most interesting denim styles we've carried from any brand, and that's after nearly 20 years of selling quite a few styles of Japanese denim...

I wanted a denim which would encapsulate all the denim styles created by Iron Heart over the years. The heft of the 21oz, the character of the SLB denim, the saturation of the Vintage denim, and the light hairiness of the UHR. We went through a few samples of different textiles to get to this one, once the samples were finished we knew we liked it but it wasn't until I had been wearing a pair of the jeans for 2 months that I realized "shit, this could be one of the best denim styles we've ever had". The way it feels, the vintage rug-like waviness to it, and the way the electric blue starts to peak out after just a few weeks of wear. It's perfect, and we're happy to say there is some denim left so we will try to do some more CPO shirts if all goes as planned for early next year (without the W on the chest, that says on the first run).

We're happy to announce that we're finally ready to release a collaboration we've been working on for (literally) five years. New fabric development in Japan has slowed down quite a bit over the years, and after quite a lot of back and forth with both IH UK and JP teams, we've just finished production on a new denim which we think is quite nice.

With this new 19oz denim we looked at all the denim styles ever created by Iron Heart and tried to produce something which encapsulated a little bit from each denim they've produced, from their 14oz all the way up to their 25oz denim.

We were so pleased with the denim we thought it would only be right to do all the "greatest hits" in indigo and overdyed versions. We have the 633 straight tapered jean, the 301 slim tapered jean, a CPO shirt, and a modified Type III jacket. All done in indigo and overdyed, along with a special printed t-shirt which will release at the same time as the rest of the collection on May 31st.

We're having a release party at Self Edge Los Angeles on May 31st with the full Iron Heart UK and Japan teams in attendance, hope some of you can make it!

I'll be using this thread to post measurements and photos of the jeans in a couple of weeks, in the meantime..

As a quick note.. our stock levels you see online never represent what we actually have in our stores for high-demand new releases. We hold back multiples of every size for every one of our 6 store locations. Our in-store locations are very important to us, and we never want to disappoint a client who's taken the time to come to a store to see the clothing in person.

On a personal note, I think an awful trend in retail is that when you visit a store all you're seeing is what didn't sell out online already, so you're not seeing many of the greatest things that store ordered for their shop. Products are sold out before they even have a chance to put it out on the sales floor at nearly all stores I'm familiar with.

After over a month of wear there's already some nice indigo hues coming through, just gave them a wash at the 6 week mark and they're currently drying.

What sets this 19oz denim apart from the 19oz LHT or 19oz indigo/black (aside from the obvious weft color)? Is it RHT and is the denim hairy, smooth, slubby? Something else?

I see that the "W" is charcoal grey in color (correct?), are the arcs the same thread color? Will the W be the same on the Type III or will it be red?

I think I am mostly interested in the CPO! Another 19oz CPO that is different than the IHSH-409. I'd love to know how they are different.

We have some answers!
This denim has a medium/dark indigo warp and a natural weft, so the fades will be a little brighter with wear and you can see a bit more of the weft through the warp.
This 19oz denim is quite different than both of the existing IH 19oz denim styles, we'll have specs up closer to the release plus high-res images so you can compare the way the denim looks to previous fabrics.
The (normally red) W is now in dark charcoal on all 8 of the garments, and the little woven Iron Heart tag on the pocket of the CPO is also in a charcoal/black color.

3SIXTEEN JACKETS & FLANNELS

3sixteen’s first release of the season is here. First up we have their new Utility flannel, made of a 100% cotton custom-woven twill check flannel with a cool raised diagonal twill texture and a brushed interior.

We’ve also received new trucker jackets, made of a deep umber colored cotton twill. These jackets are inspired by vintage Lee 101 jackets, complete with rounded chest pocket flaps, reinforced elbows, and triple-needle construction.

BUZZ RICKSON FALL COLLECTION

Buzz Rickson M-51 denim civilian shorts are here. Inspired by the U.S. Army’s iconic M-1951 field trousers, these shorts reinterpret the military original in indigo denim while retaining its distinctive cargo pockets, suspender hook loops, and functional detailing. The textured pocket construction creates high-wear areas that develop unique fading and character over time.

We also have Buzz Rickson's long sleeve chambray shirts, in both indigo and the black William Gibson version. Both now available up to size XXL.

Lastly, Buzz Rickson’s indigo selvedge denim WWII jacket is back. This jacket is a complete reproduction of the denim jacket produced during the war when the US government had imposed strict restrictions on materials which garment manufacturers used to produce their products. WAREHOUSE 30TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION JEANS & 900XX JEANS

Warehouse’s 30th anniversary jeans have landed this week. Inspired by World War II material restrictions, Warehouse’s S1003XX-LTD recreates a rare wartime style using brown cotton-blend pink selvedge ID denim and era-specific details throughout. Produced as a limited 30th Anniversary release, this jean combines historically accurate construction with Warehouse’s renowned vintage denim craftsmanship. Warehouse has decided not to share the weight information for this denim. For online clients who cannot see the jeans in person before ordering, we estimate this denim is around 15oz. Now at all stores in very limited numbers.

PURE BLUE JAPAN TEA-CORE BLACK & INDIGO JEANS + JACQUARD SHIRTS

You've heard of tea-core dyed leather? Now we have tea-core dyed denim, a first by Pure Blue Japan. This is the second jean in their tea-core denim series. Using the same black dying techniques used on many Japanese horsehides PBJ has created a black denim which fades to a deep brown hue in high friction points with regular wear. This denim has a brown weft and a tea-core dyed black over brown warp. We've seen worn in samples of this denim in person and it looks absolutely wild. Now at all stores in their straight tapered 019 leg fit.

Pure Blue Japan’s XX-019 jean is finally back in stock. These jeans are made of a 14oz denim coming in on the lighter side of PBJ’s weight scale and are finished with custom iron buttons, a deerskin patch, and sturdy cotton twill pocket bags. Available now in PBJ’s straight tapered fit.

Pure Blue Japan Organic Cotton Jacquard short sleeve shirts are also here. These shirts are constructed from organic cotton in Japan with a paisley motif is woven directly into the fabric using a jacquard loom, creating a unique textured surface.

SAMURAI 25OZ DENIM JEANS & GL3 DENIM JACKETS

The S510XX25oz-SP jean marks the return of Samurai’s legendary 25oz denim after a two-year hiatus, pairing the brand’s heaviest production fabric with their timeless regular straight silhouette. Built from an incredibly dense yet highly textured unsanforized selvedge denim, these jeans gradually soften and mold to the wearer while developing a dramatic, high-contrast fade. MISTER FREEDOM SUMMER COLLECTION

New Mister Freedom Californian jeans and denim jackets are here. Made from 13.75oz Japanese selvedge denim, the fabric is designed to soften, fade, and develop rich character through years of regular wear. Cut and sewn in a small family-owned factory in California, these jeans and jackets blend period-correct construction with the refined detailing that has become a hallmark of Mister Freedom.
