@jat we don’t recommend tumbling drying anything. Mine has not shrunk with normal washing and hang drying, but I can’t guarantee how it would behave if dried

I'd imagine this has been asked many times before, but why do the printed care lines inside a lot of IH shirts recommended tumble drying? I know well enough that that probably wouldn't end well, and am obviously on the forum enough to have seen you guy recommend against it many times, but the average customer not paying attention would probably just follow the printed guidelines without any thought to it..

I have always assumed that labels in clothes indicate safe limits, not guidelines. I have also aways assumed that any advice given at the time of purchase would supercede that of the label in the product. So I have never really thought about it, to be honest. You can tumble dry our clothes, safeley and without damaging them, but if you are being precious about 0.5" here or there, maybe its not the best idea..

I tumble dry all my iron heart clothes, mostly to no ill effect. Soaking it first, and always inside-out, zero issues beyond (to me unnoticeable) marbling. I think it all depends on risk tolerance and sensitivity to detail.

When I grab one of these, I’ll be sure to let y’all know the results.

I will be getting more, I love the one I have....

To all the size queries - it depends how you want them to fit. These were designed to fit big, so my H T size is XL, and if I take an XL in these then they fit me slightly over sized, as designed. I can also wear a L and they fit me more like an IHT-1600 fits me

This is my sample, have had for about 6 months. Many wears, many washes, no tumble drys to my knowledge. XL, and fits as I wanted it to - oversized. I can wear a Large, and will post comparison pics when @AdamC goes to get himself one as he loves his black so much.

Edited, I assume correctly, for clarity

@Alex I prefer the large, for whatever that matters.

To echo what a few others have said, I sized down from my typical IH tee size of L to a M for this. The end result is a similar fit and I'm happy with that decision. The neck hole is definitely a bit snug, though not uncomfortable. The outside of the shirt is not out of the ordinary from what I would expect, but the inside is altogether different.

Looks like denim truly is the fabric of our salvation.
