I decided to celebrate me being able to stand up again after two days of back pain by making some good old Spaghetti Bolognese or Ragu as the Bolognians would call it. No wine though because of the painkillers, but I guess you can't have everything

Oh yeah, I'm a bit OCD with my kitchens cleanliness. It's something I learned when working as a chef in a fine dining restaurant..

recent fixins:

getting ingreeds togeths

roasting up pistachios & hazelnuts

honey & cream, bring to the boil…

and pour over chocolate, butter (plus whatever spices/ liquers you fancy)

stir like crazy until consistency is smooth (no photo because my hands were full) and throw bowls in the fridge

crushing nuts like sizing down on beatle busters

bring out your bowls and roll mixture into a ball, then roll in cocoa/nuts/whatevs

bam!

some oliveoil, garlic and cheese bread as sidedish

ham and pepperoni (salami) diced, bacon and champions fried

almost done

served

and kids liked…wifey too

Half knob butter in pan
Eggs
Splash skim milk
Splash hot sauce
Salt & pepper
Smoked cheddar
2 slices smoked bacon

Cheese in once bottom set
Then bacon & cover

Just one fold for me
