A couple ideas:

1. A ranch coat with a shearling collar either in a rough leather like this one or corduroy.

2. The same split steer leather used in the type III but in a different cut. Something more traditional for a leather jacket.

@goosehd There's a guy,in Michigan, that has made some cool brass belt buckles for Ship John. He might,at least, be a good guy to talk to about the feasibility of something like this,and what the cost might be like. If there was enough interest.

In for this, too! Gotta be solids for me, though. Wouldn't be as into them if they had graphics. Would love a white/black trim, white/olive trim, and maybe an all white or all black?
