TFH t-shirt, IHDR-502ib - 14oz Selvedge Denim Cargo Pants - Indigo/Black

IHC-06
IHSH-68

This is my fourth Tour and I asked myself … why am I doing this to myself again? There is a simple answer: I still enjoy the forum, the people and the friendly atmosphere!
What drew me in here?
-Two Patagonia shirts I bought in the early 90‘ and then disappeared ten years later.
-Two selvedge Edwin jeans made in Japan, received as a gift from my cousin in the mid 90‘. One of them still existing.
-When I found out about Lightning and an addicted Japanese scene with passion for handmade things.
…
Hopefully I can find the time to tell some of this storylines.
Tour jacket paired today my first IH shirt, the IHSH-13.
Bought, because this lost Patagonia shirts where always in my mind and this 10oz selvedge chambray was the first matching a decade later.

Definitely a rabbit hole.
Started on 7” B-Sides in the 70’. Full 12’’ from Jamaican producers in the late 70’ and 80’, who influenced a lot of genres and all this later dub to come.
Punk (Clash), PostPunk (Public Image Ltd.), Drum and Bass (Massive Attack). There was even Dub-Techno and more.
Two staples to me are Scientist who radiates until today and Mad Professor without DnB wouldn’t sound like it does.

Picked this up a while back and decided to give it a try. Have never owned anything Barbour but I think it was originally waxed. None left on it now though. Very light (motorcycle?)jacket.
Hi @Chibs, perhaps this thread is interesting for you at the moment.

You told me what you’ve planned.
Perhaps I can hear a tendency to underreport
.
Enjoy your leg @ARNC

Lee “Scratch” Perry and the Upsetters - Return of the Super Ape
Trojan Music on Vinyl re-release 2022
@GraemeE :
…revolution dub from 1975.
Was that before or after the studio fire ?
Before!
His first studio fire was around 1979. It happened again with his Swiss studio in 2015.
The record above is his last but one in his Jamaican studio. The cover speaks fore itself ;-).
Was searching for his one year older but prettier sibling The Upsetters - Superape.

Found some in HH, but could have bought an IHT for the price instead …(ended up doing exactly that).

Guess who was touched by this situation.
Think that this was a special IHForum Tour moment! Two of them at one place.

And if you are curious about the fools behind the camera, look here.

Was searching for some Lee Scratch Perry.
Everything I found was recorded after he set his Black Arc Studio on fire.
Not only the studio was missing to him afterwards ;-).
By the way, second hand vinyl prices in Hamburg are astronomical.
