IHSW-70-BLK - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Sweat Pants - Black

Thanks for the comments. I tried tying them at the waist, and although it helps some, I think @sabergirl might be onto something regarding the rise, as I don’t seem to be the only one with this fit issue.
I decided to order the last pair of XL in olive this morning, just to compare. By the looks of it there’s about 1.2” more in the XL olive rear rise as compared to the Large black, and am hoping this does the trick. I figure if I have to tie them at the waist I might as well see if a size up improves things (for me).
I’ll post here again once I receive them.
Thanks everyone

@Brandrea I’m curious to hear the results. For me it was XL or XXL, which the difference is only .4” in the rear.

@Danimal506 the measurements really varied greatly between the olive and the black. We’ll see what I get and I’ll circle back here when they arrive.

These finally just arrived. Unsure if I should have sized up to an XL or not. My typical size in the 888 is either a 35 or 36. My best fitting pair is my 888 XHS which are size 35. These fit pretty well, trim but comfortable throughout the legs, which is how I like my sweats, like a modern trim jogger, not sloppy and baggy. They are a little tight in the the crotch and butt area, which if I compare measurements between the L and XL, the rise seems to be the only real difference between the two, so maybe that would have helped. I have worn them around the house now for a little while and they have loosened up considerably so maybe they were the right call and I will just accept that they fit a little tight after washing. The fabric is amazing though and they immediately feel more substantial and cozy then my Nike sweat pants.
What's everyone's washing routine with this, are you washing them after every wear?
-
@Johnnyutah247 I've washed them once so far after getting some tiger balm on them. Cold water, delicate cycle with low spin and hang dry. They haven't shrunk at all using this method although I think if they were washed after every wear they would start to come in a bit.

I have got shrinkage in all my hoodies using a tumble drier, though - for all the driers out there (read Americans)
As have I, but not so much that they didn't fit properly afterwards. They all actually ended up fitting slightly better than before. Plus, the stretch back out where they need to.

Thank you to the gentleman and his wife that I met on eBay and came and delivered these to me this evening! (Same day delivery!)
Comparing with my zip up hoodie, it appears I’ve faded this a lot…

7 or so months later and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of these sweat pants.
I wear them often and they are holding up very well, the black is still dark and rich.
I also own a pair of Wonderlooper double heavy weight sweats and as awesome as they are I find the IH version much warmer.I can see many more years of comfort to come from these.
Cheers

@Rustygate37 I bought the Olive ones last time - if they come around again I am getting the Black ones. The fleece isn't as trendy as Wonder Looper but I find it very warm and super comfortable.

@will6er I was also going to grab an olive pair myself too but had to remind myself of how much of a grub I am. Wouldn’t have gone a week without at least one coffee stain on the knee or thigh… black helps me conceal my constant battle of trying to stay looking clean.
