Real feel of -18 in upstate New York today.

Been wearing this a lot as I do work in my unfinished basement attempting to build a play area for my kids and a gym. Re doing some lighting and other things to make it nicer. The combs on my elbows are pretty great right now. Hard to tell with lighting but there is some fading. Great shirt.

Just wanted to provide an update on the repairs to my IHSH-102-MC. It took a little bit to get the patch I ordered from ETSY( came from the UK). And I kind of forgot about it. Eventually I got around to dropping it off at a local tailor and below are the results. The color isn't an exact match, but it's pretty close. I'm happy with the results.

Recently picked up this SMP300 second hand for a very good price. These are probably the best bang for your buck out there in my opinion. If you're patient you can find them in awesome condition for a lot less then retail. It's keeping great time so far and overall feels like a tank. My next watch will eventually be a submariner but I refuse to play the AD game. Compared to a friends sub, the sub bracelet feels more comfortable, has better micro adjustments and feels slightly more premium, but the omega keeps better time and gives off more of a " tool watch" vibe, which I'm into.

It wears a lot smaller then the measurements would hint at. Compared to my Tudor black bay 41, it feels smaller, I actually really like the " out-dated " bracelet. It came with the blue rubber strap incase I want to switch.

After a hot soak, pretty happy with the fit. Top block is a tiny bit more roomy than my regular xhs were in the same size. But they have possibly a bit more taper. Soaked them last night and they're ever so slightly damp but I couldn't wait any longer. Buttons were not so hard to close either.

@Phil_NYC these are one of the nicest pairs of UHR I've ever seen. I got a pair on ice and this makes me want to start wearing them.

@will6er trying to get used to the double cuff and it's growing on me for sure, I think I'd prefer just a single cuff so I'd like to get a little taken off. Maybe I'll wear them like this a few times and see.

This fabric shouldn't rope like denim does from a chainstitch, so I would probably just go to a local tailor.

Welp.A little bit frustrated I grabbed a pair from iron shop provisions and paid extra for the hemming and it seems like they totally forgot to hem them, so now they're way too long. Wearing them today with a double fold. Happy with the fit though.

Is their any benefit to a chainstitch on these? Or is a regular hem good? Might bring to a local tailor and take care of it fast.

@Jord I just ordered a 36 from Iron shop provisions, now I'm trying to figure out if I want them hemmed or if I should keep them long.

How stretchy is this fabric supposed to be? I'm between a 35 and 36. Not sure if I want to go with a 35 which is my jeans size in the 888's or just go with the comfort of the 36's

Happy with the fit, and it's very stretchy. 1 open and 1 closed. The brass buttons stand out a lot but I like them.

Wow this thing came fast even with the pimped snaps. The Kersey fabric to me feels like a mix between corduroy and almost sweat shirt material. I tried it on and wore it around the house and it's the most comfortable shirt I've worn.
