Haha thanks dude! What’s duck canvas without a proper wildlife refuge in the backyard, right?

And yes — super into the native bunch grasses! We’re in California, for reference, with very heavy clay soil in a narrow valley setting.

Some of the plants you see are: purple needle grass, deergrass, nodding needle grass, alkali sacaton, and common juncus. some yarrow, elymus glauca, and blue eyed grass in there somewhere too. Those + big trees have been a sweet combo for our clay muck!

the grasses are easy but seasonal — we let ‘em seed out and look great in the breeze, then cut them back close to the ground every summer, both for looks and fire danger

@Tobi I really do. They feel very premium and study and stable. I was deciding between these and the black/coyote color and went with this… without thinking about the indigo transfer from my jeans that happened on day 1.

I was also considering the North face Glenclyff but I couldn’t get past the massive logo on the toe.
