Making my tri-state famous lobster mac and cheese for a Super Bowl party. Last year I think I only used six or eight tails, so this year I’m upping the ante. I don’t want anyone crying that they didn’t get lobster in every scoop.
Go Falcons!
the tri-state thing is definitely just in my mind…
I pulled out my epi pen just in case just looking at them tails......

So for 2026 we are doing a challenge of sorts where each month I pick a country out of a jar and cook one meal a week of that countries food, mostly to get me to try cooking some different countries food as I lean heavily SE Asia usually.
February is Morocco, tonight I made lamb and apricot tagine with khobz bread, crazy good, last week I did chicken pastilla (photo not attached)

Some kids at the party were about to dig in, I said “hey, if anybody has a shellfish allergy you absolutely do not want to eat this…”

We left at halftime and there was only about two or three scoops left, I think it was a success

@Giles helps with getting out of the comfort zone, my wife picked 24 countries, I have no clue what countries they are, also gets me to explore some new grocery stores which is fun

Shojin ryori
I'd recommend that as a good veggie option when you are in Japan @chap
