@Chibs As a fellow owner I am glad you picked it up, so I can look forward for an entertaining review soon !
It gets better every time, enjoy it in good health

-
@tvaillant75 thanks man! Just realized it’s my third type III
What do you guys think of the fit? My Daughter took one look and said “9 out of 10” which was cool.
Here it is compared to the 21oz monster

-
@Chibs same observation as you. Mine is also on the tight side, e.g. it's a "over a tee" denim jacket as OD always tends to run slightly smaller for me, even when sized up. FYI I have some fit photos earlier in the thread.
I am perfectly fine with it as I don't layer much with type IIIs overall, and it is complementary to my 19oz lefty which runs large. it has a nice 60s look: fitted and slightly cropped.
Looking at yours it looks golden over a tee, and you can be sure it won't get smaller when washed.

@Chibs Fit looks perfect.

@tvaillant75 Awesome, thank you!!! I figured my other type 3’s are better for layering with hoodies & sweaters but not as complimentary with just a t-shirt. This is also how I justified an other IH type 3

The nerd in me wanted to find out what those Japanese characters mean. As far as Google is concerned it’s “SLAB” which sounds an awful lot like “Slub” I’m guessing there’s more to it and look forward to possibly finding out

@Chibs Fit looks perfect.
Thank you!

@Chibs something to cover during the next YT episode I hope !
Have to say, I love the vibe and content of your videos, but it seems the collection may grow faster than the video output?

-
@tvaillant75 Much appreciated! Yea, you totally pegged me. The vid I'm working on now is 21 oz 666's. Should be done filming this week. I'll definitely do a type 3 vid. Maybe a face off or perhaps they'll each get their own. Really enjoying making these so happy you like watching.

According to @nurunuru
"I'm not Giles, but happy to chime in with a translation. It's just "slub" written in katakana script. ス=su ラ=ra ブ= bu.Edit: Katakana is the script usually used for writing foreign loan words. Unlike hiragana which is the script usually used for writing words of a native origin. And unlike kanji, which is the script usually used for driving students of Japanese insane over the course of countless hours."
@goosehd Thank you! So I guess google got it wrong. Makes more sense that it's "Slub"
