Temps finally dropped enough that I can start breaking in my 19oz lefty

I think my 21 oz 634S haven’t faded much, until I see the two next to each other!

Traveling in Czechia right now where it’s 90 degrees during the day but drops down to the 60s at night. Too hot at daytime, but evening is perfect for breaking in the lefty jacket.

@JohnM Don’t have both, but if I could do it over again I’d probably get the waist bag. The IHE-19 is a great, practical size — the waist bag just has more sauce

Man, I thought this would be true but I'm in love with this cut. I need to lose a bit of weight for them to fit perfect, but I already knew that/that's already in progress. I can tell these are eventually going to be my favorite pair. Thanks again, @Graham!

I read through the whole thread from the beginning, and just to confirm the state of affairs with this cut: it's in continuous production, but mostly it's sold in Japan, with a few pairs making their way over here? And when it's available we can special order with no returns?

Still way too hot to wear this out where I am, but been enjoying wearing it around home the last two days, trying to start breaking it in. Curious how this jacket ends up feeling once it's fully broken in — I know it will eventually stop feeling like a suit of armor, but does it always remain a bit stiff, or does it inevitably become soft?
