On a different note, Iron Heart has made so many different types of CPO shirts and the 21oz is the real OG denim, the core at the center of it all. I'm honestly a bit surprised this hasn't been a thing yet until now. A welcomed surprise all the same.

The way my 21 oz Type 3 and jeans breath make it much more versatile denim than anticipated. It’s so soft from the beginning too! I’d be down for one of these in a CPO but would love it if you guys would figure out a way to have inside pockets opposite the hand warmers. Is this at all possible?

@Chibs generally not from IH team. But there is nothing stopping you from sewing them in. A tailor or seamstress could do that. An extra piece of fabric could sew into the hem and the bottom of the pocket.

Fwiw there are other brands out there that do sew the pocket bags into the hem of cpo's to make these into internal pockets. I can respect that ih doesn't but it would be a really nice upgrade if it ever happened.

Man I just saw this and this is going to be sooo sweet!!
Interior pockets would be so nice, even if they just sewed it into the seam on the bottom. Might not be as strong I suppose, but personally I'm always wishing my CPO's had this.

For those of you wondering who has the sample...

This 21oz CPO will be getting all of my attention. I will be posting here regularly, as I did with the IHSH-409 Sample from two summers ago. I am going to give this thing absolute Hell over the next year and document it all here, your favorite forum.

First impressions are that this thing is built the Iron Heart way. Impressive off the bat, heavy as Hell, yet soft and super comfortable. I really love the way 21oz looks unwashed as it fades initially, so I plan to keep this thing dry as practically as possible.

So stoked to start this one! Thank you @Alex and the Stubborn Crew at IH for making this happen. I love Iron Heart! Let's go!

Here you can see the sleeves are wet as I have been setting the creases. I highly recommend using a spray mister bottle (like for plants) to dampen areas that will crease. It helps a ton with creating intricate fold patterns on the inner arms.

I remember your journey with the 409IB fondly, so you are deservedly getting the first go at this beauty of a shirt.
It is true that the 21oz denim is one of the best looking fresh out of the box, and I love that the IH crew has chosen the work shirt CPO as a base.
Is that an XL?
