Still holding about for a Hickory bib re-release, or a lucky find on the secondary market..
I'd 100% arrive in Hamburg head to toe in that fabric
Oh yea?
Fuck fucking yes!!!! So glad they worked out for you my dude.
Man, I love these things! Thanks for letting me have them for pretty much a song and a dance!
-
Filthy style I have been looking forward to the heat and sleeveless band tshirts with these bibs.
-
Hell yeah dude

My sincerest apologies for not making it...
Tried to join the brotherhood with a pair of 806 in 38.
But the shoulder straps are too short. I'm fairly tall, 193cm/6'3", and even with the straps adjusted all the way down, it's still way too tight in the crotch area.
So here's two pictures for reference, and a goodbye from this thread - would have preferred it had worked out in my favour
I have already passed this pair on to another IH nerd.
-
ok no, that does not work @tody
-
Whatโs the big deal? They look fine.

@tody bummer buddy! One look at that butt mirror pic says it all. Keep looking out in eBay, here and maybe eve Grailed to find a pair that may work for you.

Should be fairly easy to extend the straps. Maybe there's some extra duck material laying around (offcuts from cuffs etc) to keep it 100% Iron Heart.
(Edit: I see now that you've already moved them on)
-
Iโve always had a nagging doubt that my bibs (first pair ever) may be too small for me. Isnโt the bib placket too short for me? It stops midway between my waist and my shoulders. The straps are adjusted at their longest for this pic.
-
@motojobobo you know, first rule: if you feel good, it is good; and second, bibs can be worn different ways - so if your crotch region doesn't look like @tody 's IMO it should be fine
-
Mine came as an unexpected gift in 34. My 888s are 32 and everything else is 33. If the bibs had been smaller than 34 they would of have been too small.
They are, after all, overalls so being a little loose is how I think they look best. Try sizing up maybe?
-
I noticed the chatter about extending the straps on the bibs. I did just that. Mine werenโt long enough for my liking so had my tailor sew an extra bit of denim on. It ended up working perfectly.

Iโve always had a sneaking suspicion that I might be borderline too tall for IH bibs at 6โ1โ. I suppose it probably depends on how much of oneโs height is torso, but these are definitely made with shorter Asian bodies in mind.
I still want to try some sometime
