I have this Freenote shirt and noticed the part of the stitching on the shoulder has come loose. I cut the thread and tied it off on the inside of the shirt. Nothing on it is coming apart; it all feels very sturdy and secure. Should I just leave it and wear, or is it worth taking to a tailor to get fixed?

anyone have any advice on new yorker pant sizing? I'm a 3 in the fatigue pants and a 33 in most iron heart jeans – trying to decide between the 3 and the 4 for the new yorkers.

@Fades-for-future how is the sizing on these? found a haleiwa T in a color i want, but they only have XL (46). i'm an L in freenote and loopwheeler and an XL in merz b. schwanen, for reference. doubting whether to risk it

@Oaktavia has it gotten any softer? asked this a while back and you said no, but wondering if anything has changed since then. mine has one wash and much less wear than yours, but is still very stiff

does anyone know how similar in cut these are to wrangler 13mwz?

Anyone have insight into how these much relax/stretch with wear? I have one and it feels but doesn’t look tight, and the measurements are on point too. Wondering if it’s just the heft and initial stiffness of the fabric

@Graham thanks for this i'm almost certainly safe in the length, but i don't want a ton off the shoulders/chest. my washer jumps from 40 to 60 C, no 50 unfortunately

i'm looking to incrementally shrink this shirt. i first washed on 40C at 600rpm, and got a bit but not enough in the length. should my next step be 40C at a higher rpm? or is 60C at 600rpm a better choice?

@Neru-6 lol i am with you, strange, weirdly hostile responses all around imo. not everyone is a huge part of this forum, or the IH brand in general. makes sense to me that not everone is clued in to how the processes work

@tody @motojobobo the product page says the 888s (and all other superblack non-fades, i believe) are good for an inch. you aren't even getting that?

Does anyone have experience with getting more than 1 inch (let's say 1.5 inches) of stretch out of 21oz superblack non-fade in the waist? I feel that's fairly easily done on regular/OD pairs, but can't find much definitive about superblack non-fade. Not necessarily looking for methods of getting it there, more wondering if it's in the realm of possibility
