Here is what I'm talking about... As you can see, Okayama has a XXL at 45.3 in in chest and Self Edge has the exact same shirt in XXL and it's 50 inches in chest. That's a 5 inch difference and they both use the pit to pit method. I bought the shirt from Self Edge and it measures at 50 inches. 5 inches is a huge difference that I'm not sure can be explained by different measuring techniques.

@edgarallanpoe I think that Selfedge has a slightly different measuring procedure than IH,so sometimes there’s a slight difference between the two measurements, and Selfedge tells you how they measure,but never a 5 inch difference. That’s pretty crazy.

I’ve noticed that the measurements from places like Okayama and Denimio can indeed be a little different, so when I’ve bought stuff from there, I’ve tried to find charts at a couple other places that carry the same product so that I can do sort of an average if you will. It’s generally worked out fine — I think I had to send something back once.

I find denimio and Okayama denim’s measurements to be wildly unreliable. If in doubt, look for other measurements and kind of split the difference. Self edge isn’t always super reliable, either, though better. If it’s an IH product, I always rely on IHUK publishing the best measurements. For other stuff, it’s best to look around at what’s out there, and use your best judgement.

Hey guys,
Curious to know if anyone knows which shirt this is.
Currently up on Kleinanzeigen here in Germany and it looks like a 10oz denim work shirt but interest to know exactly what it is.
Thanks!

@BalticBob I have edited your post, added the pictures, moved your post to this area, and removed the link.
Still working on which shirt it is and hoping someone will chime in on their thoughts.

@tody I think you got it. @BalticBob take a look here: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/topic/2549/ihsh-75-12oz-indigo-selvedge-denim-work-shirt?page=1
I can’t tell from the buttons, but the chain stitching looks right (brown).

What cut do you think these pre-2012 jeans are please? They're 21oz Black Armor Denim with a Levis style patch.

@Karol I don’t know if there’s a way to measure other than feel, but in my experience I’d say the densest I’ve encountered would be the 25oz Mad Black. Probably second to that would be XHSII.
Maybe worth adding that while lighter weight, the 14oz feels like a pretty damn dense weave. We talk pretty frequently about it being less breathable than many.
