Time to resurrect this thread after 12 years. Damn...
A pair of White's boots (CXL Brown) and maybe also a pair of IH-888D.

IH: Oiled N1
Non-IH clothing. Y-2 olive leather car coat.
Non-clothing. After driving 2 hours round trip everyday for the last 3 weeks and counting to take care of a horse… a hobby farm so I can walk out the back door and take care of them.
@sabergirl we’ve considered an EV too but I think they have too many challenges still especially for road trips outside of daily driving. The polestar versions and the upcoming Honda Prologue are options we kind of like.

Y2 Grizzly jacket "Spirit " theshopvancouver collab
fckin awesome -
I've been jonesin for a Jeep Wrangler forever, and once the kids get a little older and we are out of car seat land I was thinking of picking one up. Last week with all the crazy winter storms, Nashville got hAmMeReD with ice and there was a blue wrangler flipped upside down in the ditch at the end of my neighborhood. Was there for a few days after the storm, so I saw it everyday on the way in and out.
So all that to say, I think I'll get a red one.

I feel like I could type up an endless list lol for simplicity sake I would like to purchase a winning lottery ticket.
-
@goosehd I am on the waitlist for a GT3 -- just get on the waitlist, that will quash your dreams. 19 months and counting.
-
@indigostiff The problem is that we’ve calculated another 3-4 years until we can fully retire and me buying a Porsche doesn’t exactly help in that calculation.
The part of me that is a kid and refuses to grow up is now dealing with the reality of growing up and wanting to relax a little…

I share that wish too! Think of all the things I can get with that money.

@endo was looking at those recently as well. My last motorbike was a Honda Africa Twin which I sold around 1999 :).. On the other hand: I don't even have enough time to get out a lot with my road and gravel bicycles. Also: I live in DK, which means nice conditions for biking rare, even in the short summer months.
On the other hand: never let a good midlife crisis go to waste!
EDIT: also - taxation of around 180% in DK. HD would cost me almost 100K USD -
@endo had a triumph street twin that I used for commuting in NYC for years and also sold it four years ago. Currently dreaming of a speed twin 1200 but juggling the fact I have a 2.5 year old and limited time. However still consumes too much of my mental capacity. I get the feeling.

I dream of buying a Rivendell bike frame one day.

@goosehd I sat in my friends pretty stock 911 and it was quite a laugh. I could've driven it for a bit but no longer than a few minutes. He's got pic of me straddling the steering wheel. My fast car would be some kind of sedan M5 or the like. Speed and I fit in it. Comfortably. Sat in a Lotus too once. That actually hurt.

@Tago-Mago I don’t know about that. Our speed limit on the local 401 is 110km/h, everyone travels 120-130km/h before the police start raising eyebrows. That is unless you’re being stupid and following too closely, dangerous lane changes, etc.
-
Oz is the same with speed limits everywhere is basically 60 kmph unless it’s a freeway type road then it’s 110
And we like to fine people lots
I got done on the way home from the last camping trip between some point to point average cameras I only averaged 122 and that’s cost me $582 and 3 points -

Yeah, but that's the point. What do you do with the other 3 gears?
