Went for a short hike today on the Taughannock Falls trail near Ithaca, New York. Nice flat trail with nice view of the Falls at the end.

I am proud to say I have earned a spotlight from the official indigo invitational page. This is the first one I have gotten and this is my third year competing.

Well I am happy witht the way my pair faded. Now I have a nicely faded black pair . I am going to be wearing a pair of uhr in the 888 cut for my bridge pair.

@phoenixinflight I have a pair of Wilkes in the 17oz black by black. The fabric is fairly stiff.You can really feel the texture.I haven't worn them a ton that pair is a dress up or date night pair. I think it will fade rather nicely with some dedication.

Nice sweet cider with tartness from the cherries to balance it out with an abv of 6.9 percent. I am really liking this one. It is 1911 black cherry hard cider from beak and skiff based out of Lafayette, Ny which is near Syracuse. I have seen it around before but hadn't tryed it until now.It is NY grown apples not sure on the cherries though.

Well it is the beginning of fall here I guess since we just made it to September. So Genesee dropped this cranberry apple ale. I was a skeptical at first but it is pretty good. Smells like apple candy. Well balanced with a full body. It just works. Granted this is a couple normal beers deep prior for my initial impression so ymmv. I was pleasantly surprised definitely worth a try for something different. I might have to pick up another case lol.

@pechelman I also don't have a fox Brothers flannel yet but I have a few wool items. I would recommend hand washing with cool to Luke warm water and a wool safe detergent like Eucalin. I would also steer clear of the drying machine and air dry.

Got a sampler pack at Wegmans the other day and here are couple that I gave a try tonight. I am learning I am not a fan if IPA but I didn't mind Troegs perpetual ipa. The cookie milk stout by Great lakes was fun it did taste like a chocolate chip cookie and it was creamy.
