Almost missed them after waiting for so long!
I was driving for a second day of sidemount diving class, stressed by how I’m not as fluent in the new setup, thinking about it all, and suddenly an alarm went off on my phone 5min to 17:00CET. It took me good few seconds to understand why have I set it and then panic that I’m in the middle of the highway and not in front of my PC where I have the ordering pegged.
All worked out at the end but shaking hands

wasnt going to buy these as i just got the 888ib's but the 35's stayed in stock overnight and i decided to be a degenerate and get another pair. too many good releases this year.

Ok guys, the heavyweight package is out for delivery !!
I plan to do the hot soak, followed by an immediate machine wash to get all the shrink out.Regarding this machine wash, it would be 30°, but what "cycle" do you guys use ? normal agitation or some sort of delicate program ? With the jeans alone (since the machine detects weight) it would be a 1 hour wash.
And would you do spinning at 400 RPM or none ? I don't mind if it takes longer to dry, but if 400 RPM doesn't hurt, why not...Cheers !

@Slash Gentle cycle, no spin. Safest option unless you don't mind marbling.

Haha received mine today. I can't belive how much stiffer they are compared to the regular XHS. Looking awesome though. Before and after soaking/washing measurements coming tomorrow.

Honestly, even more kudos to the guys who choose to buy this fitting from the start, I don't think I could. My pair might prove a bit big in the long run but we'll see; anyway I could not size down this thing
I will do the washing thing tomorrow and reports some measurements for future buyers

I successfully held off on these... Whew. And those 35's were available for a while! Congratulations to everyone who grabbed them! My second favorite cut. My favorite is on the way though...

@Slash They will fit perfectly after you soak for at least an hour in super hot water, and/or a machine wash, hottest setting, inside out, no spin, hang dry.

Well, those didn't shrink very much in fact
I did a 60 min hot soak, but admittedly I could not have a higher temp than 48°C.
After that, a normal wash (normal cycle) at 40°C which lasted for 1h05 with no spinning.Waist did only shrink 0.25 as far as I can measure (heavy fabric), the knee also 0.25. The thighs maybe 0.3.
Only inseam did shrink of 0.8.It might prove a bit big in the future I'll see, but anyway I could not have taken the size under for thighs, knee, nor waist to be honest.
I still have the option to keep washing those warm and see if I get a bit more shrink in the future.I think it sits ok now, but comments are welcome

@Slash remember, soaking hot doesn't shrink them alone... you gotta move them about in the hot water, I forget the word... But basically get them moving around in the water
Not sure if you did this already, but will help shrink
