I think they just want you to scroll through and see as many ads as possible before you get what you came for. Remember that age when Google, social media, YT, etc were so novel? How far we've plunged into the capitalist hellscape.

Well, if you get picky you can. If you use it for a recipe that has let's say, a marinade, a cooking sauce, some fancy rice and a bread, then it gets confused.....So needs to used with some intelligence.....
And my rant is, if I want to set up a cooking/lifestyley/introspection website, then I can do what the fuck I want.

@Giles many thanks…you just saved me loads of frustration. And I actually agree with you in that I don’t mind the stories/lifestyle vibe…I mean it’s their site. What I hate are the pop up ads, the videos that self play, the constant reloads, that make navigating said site very unpleasant. But now I have a new tool to avoid that…brilliant

I was dropping off a handbag where the snap popped off on one of my wife’s handbags.
when I saw the price of that shirt, I didn’t even bother looking at the suits, etc. can’t imagine how much those cost.

WHY do all these 'smart' TVs have LAG?! I miss the days when you push a button and the thing responds instantaneously. Combine this with the dumbass Search alphabet interface all streaming services now have it is a recipe for rage-yeeting the remote at the screen.
