IHSH-62-IND - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
-
this will be my first IH shirt. will this shrink with every soak/wash? I plan to wear this mostly unbuttoned, over a shirt, like a jacket almost. So I'm not sure if I should go with my normal size L or size down to an M. Aware that the measurements chart is there but yeah, also worried the L could be too big.
-
@vince If you think the measurement would work with a medium i would go with that. You will get a little shrink but not much and it will stretch back out. also, the body length on these is pretty long so I bet you'll enjoy the length of the medium better.
I wear an xl in all Iron heart shirts, including this, but the 62 is only shirt I bet I could size down to a large in.

@vince Great choice indeed! If you have a shirt that fits similarly to what you are looking for with this one, go by the measurements

Shrinkage is almost negligible. But to second the others, this is one of the very shirts where I sized down from my regular XXL to XL and still have enough room. -
Thank you guys for the advice here!!

Same as above comments with sizing. Went with my same size for most other shirts, but had a little extra room (which I don't mind on my westerns).
I've also washed and tumble dried this shirt so many times without worry and it comes out great. The tail in the back curls up a bit (just from the way it's constructed) but other than that it has stayed pretty consistent. I just do the normal inside out, presoak, was cold, tumble dry low. Easy and is breaking in nicely!

Love this thing

I had a chance to see this fabric in person at SE PDX recently. Prior, I dismissed it on some incorrect assumptions. The blue is deep and the bleach dots are a super interesting detail. So I went out and found one from another stockist. SE was out of my size.
A large should show up next week and I’m anxious to see how it fits. I know these can run big and I tend to be a Large or XL, depending on the fabrics. Stoked!

@Bobcat-Sig Love this fabric!
Personally I would love to see it without the wabash dots as well, as in straight up indigo or black. "The undotted".
