Does the new indigo 19oz denim feature a beige weft, such as many other indigo denims IH has to offer?
What sets this 19oz denim apart from the 19oz LHT or 19oz indigo/black (aside from the obvious weft color)? Is it RHT and is the denim hairy, smooth, slubby? Something else?
I see that the "W" is charcoal grey in color (correct?), are the arcs the same thread color? Will the W be the same on the Type III or will it be red?
I think I am mostly interested in the CPO! Another 19oz CPO that is different than the IHSH-409. I'd love to know how they are different.
We have some answers!
This denim has a medium/dark indigo warp and a natural weft, so the fades will be a little brighter with wear and you can see a bit more of the weft through the warp.
This 19oz denim is quite different than both of the existing IH 19oz denim styles, we'll have specs up closer to the release plus high-res images so you can compare the way the denim looks to previous fabrics.
The (normally red) W is now in dark charcoal on all 8 of the garments, and the little woven Iron Heart tag on the pocket of the CPO is also in a charcoal/black color. -

@catdad1 @Mizmazzle Initially I thought non-OD CPO...which sounds sick af...but then I realized I have the (perhaps) comparable 292 non-OD, 409 indigo/black, but no OD CPO (or OD western shirt, for that matter). So, I think the decision has been made for me.

@kiya this new denim looks so rad!! I'm curious, since you've been wearing the jeans....how soft have they become so far? Wondering if this denim will stay crispier or become sweat pants soft...
In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

This may change my mind, as I am all about the fade potential and it usually the first thing on the list of why I may choose one or another item when comparing. But on the other hand, an OD CPO that stays dark and inky is also a reason to go the OD route. Good thing these don't come out till the end of next month. Plenty of time to decide.

Literally just got these a week ago, so they only have about 6 days of wear on them, will know more in a couple of weeks though!

These stop by us just long enough for us to take the stock and split it out for San Fran, NY, LA, etc and re-ship.
It would delay Self Edge's delivery if we were to measure them the IH way, which we do not want to do. If you are buying from Self Edge, you should really honour their measuring requirements.
