IHSH-421-IND - 12oz Hickory Stripe CPO Shirt - Indigo

This western-style CPO shirt is made from 12oz sulphur-dyed hickory stripe cotton twill — the same fabric as our longest-running shirt model, the IHSH-07. Because it is woven with sulphur-dyed indigo yarns, you can expect the fabric to fade with wear, developing a wonderful vintage character over time. As the CPO variation of the IHSH-07, this shirt offers a little more length in the body than our standard western cut, with additional side hand-warmer pockets and heavy-duty copper snap fastenings throughout.

So…@Alex very kindly reached out to me yesterday, and a little over 24 hours later, I have the sample on my back!
The phrase ‘standing on the shoulder of giants’ never felt more apt, bearing in mind the forum legends that have previously put sample items through their paces, as well as the legendary status of the 12oz hickory, as used on the IHSH-07.
My wife gave the fit a nod of approval, so there is no excuse not to wear it continuously for the new few months and see what desk surfing does to the elbows! Straight into a conference call this afternoon, with garage clearing duties and a tip run scheduled for the weekend - I’m showing it the high life from the off!

Interestingly (?) the pocket tabs are grey compared to the red of the IHSH-07 - everything else is the same as the 07 as far as I can tell, but obviously there may or may not be changes by the time the production run comes in.

production run has copper snaps, indeed. It was a lost in translation thing - I said take the 07 and make it a CPO, they did literally that, instead of also putting CPO snaps on it...

Any chance of seeing a 07 with the copper snaps against it? @Graham I’d like to see how that looks with the stripes

I firmly believe this hickory could age and fade beautifully if put through the works. I have yet to see any IH hickory fades that really hit that mark though. There are examples of faded vintage hickory online, but dude I would love to see some really feck one of these up.
