…now is about the time that injuries start popping up and giving everyone some issues. Still in the first third of the season, but teams should be figuring out what works and what needs to be improved.
The Bears offensive line is starting to form up and give Williams a chance, which is good. Are they playoff material, probably not…will they be? Time will tell

@Choko It’s a Survivors Pool of sorts. Basically you just have to pick one team every week. You win you move on,you lose,then you’re out and we keep going until there’s one person left and then we reset and start over,which is what happened this week. You just have to make your pick before the game starts. If you want you can scroll back through the thread and see how people have been doing. It’s pretty light hearted and I try to make it fun with the weekly wrap up.

@Jett129 as I mentioned earlier in the thread, I’ll be attending that game in London. It’ll be my first NFL game and I genuinely can’t wait. I’m a Packers fan, but I’m taking my daughter who supports the Bears, so for the sake of family harmony, I’ll be cheering them on.
That’s not to say they’re my pick for next week. I’ll get back to you on that one. -

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot It’s ridiculously hard to win in the NFL,sometimes all it takes is one mistake,one missed tackle,or one bad/missed call by the ref. That’s why I do this,just for fun. Some of these pools are for seriously crazy money. Nothing all that serious or crazy about this one. No way I could really bet football

Any Wallace and Gromit fans here? If so you might know that Tuesday was a special day for them as it was the day that they had Porridge. Well here at the IH Survivors Pool,Tuesday is a special day for us as that’s the day I do the wrap up. Here we go. What’s more impressive than Sam Darnold and The Minnesota Vikings going 5-0 giving wins to @steelworker @Nocturama and @IrishHeart? It’s our very own @goosehd going 5-0 as Da Bears make The Panthers look like well,pussycats. @Matt is back on the east coast,back from Gosport,and back in the winner’s circle as his Ravens gut out a tough one against their division rival Cincinnati Bengals. @Mizmazzle gets the win as his, now legendary, socks,which Patrick Surtain,must’ve been wearing,when he intercepted a pass and ran it back 100 yards for a touchdown helping to get the win over hated division rivals,The Las Vegas Raiders. @Twistlock bounces back with a nice pick as the surprise of the 2024 season,Washington Commanders,were totally in Command over the,somewhat,hapless Cleveland Browns. @Oaktavia,one of many,Forum Favorite Faders,faded The Steelers as The Cowboys go into Pittsburgh and ride out with a hard fought win. @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot is now glad that his name is not Sir-Bets-a-Lot as he was in on the flip side of that game picking The Steelers to beat The Cowboys. Speaking of flip sides, @SKT was on the flip side of the Vikings/Jets game,picking The Jets to beat the Vikings. Prior to the game he was skeptical about his pick,but figured it was worth it as he gets his happy/sad moment…Sad that he looses,but happy that Aaron Rodgers is playing like he’s in The Darkness. The most devastating loss this weekend was,The Giants picking this weekend to play their best game in years as the go out to Seattle block kicks,scoop and score,and send seasoned vets like myself,@scooter @pmadison95 ,and The Rock,aka @shamrock8387 to the sidelines. That game should’ve been Easy Money. Last but certainly not least @Danimal506 decides to give The Pool a shot. The Dolphins lost their starting QB,The Patriots didn’t,and somehow manage to loose 10-9,but I told Danimal not to fret as there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll all be back in a few weeks. Congrats on some great picks to all the winners,the rest of us get Porridge. Football on Thursday,Sunday,and Monday. See ya next week.
