        @jordanscollected I’ll check it out! I just watched the first episode of The Cleaner, another Australian black comedy that seems promising.

          @jordanscollected glad you enjoyed it. The anti police violence was a major part of the troubles in Northern Ireland and even since the Good Friday Agreement there are communities that have no time or trust in them.
          The Police force there have said that this show is the most accurate reflection of their day to day working life that has been shown on TV.

              @jiminstitches continuing the Australian theme have you watched Wilfred? IMO probably one of the most underrated series - the US version has Elijah Wood and it is darkly hilarious (the trailer is a bit shit:

              )

                  Not sure if we’ve talked about it here before, but Hacks is hilarious. It’s more than just Jean Smart chewing scenery—though there is a fair amount of that. Anyway, the third season is still consistently good as the first two.

                                      I was sorely disappointed last night when I realised I’d finished the 2 seasons of blue lights that were available to watch

                                      Now I’m on the hunt for something else that the wife and I will both happily watch without her calling someone while the show is on

                                        Finished the first (and only so far) season and enjoyed it. Bit weird, as it starts like a classic noir, LA-based PI story. Turns out quite different and leaves room for further seasons. Liked Colin Farrell's acting a lot, as always.

                                          New Netflix series Tires was a great watch.

                                          With a total runtime of just over 2h, it was very digestible and never outstayed its welcome.

                                          Shane Gillis practically plays himself, which I loved to see 😆

                                            I saw @Alex watching series 1 of Tokyo Vice (BBC iPlayer) on a trip to Japan a couple of years ago. I watched it in one hit on the way back and loved it. Series 2 is out, but @Madame-Buttonfly had not seen S1, so we watched it together at the weekend (I am glad I did because I had forgotten loads), we are now halfway through S2 and it is brilliant....
