Sizing can be a bit tricky with Adidas, they tend to be slim and long, although I am not familiar with these exact models, but have two pairs of running shoes.

@Dmart true story. Although the OG casual models tend to stretch nicely. I take half a size (if leather or suede) or a whole size (if synthetic) up from Nike for example.

@neph93 yep. The only one that are true to size for me are the Stan Smith. But yes, they are stretchy.

Bringing this back from the dead. I‘ve been looking at the Spezial made in Germany version and wondered if anyone already tried them and can comment on the quality of materials etc compared to the made in Vietnam version.

I tried the regular made in Vietnam version on at a store and the fit and feel of the shoe on my feet was great but in my hand, I wouldn‘t really say it‘s worth 110€ full price. One can find these on sale for less which makes it more appealing but recently I‘ve had sneakers dying on me at a rapid rate after only 1 season. Looking for a pick up which will last a few years.

I’m assuming we all own one. Just haven’t posted denim tracksuit. It’s pretty fantastic. The stripes are made from showing the weft of the fabric. Nice little detail that makes it special for me.

@BalticBob regarding footwear. The only thing I’ve used recently is a pair of Vietnam made hikers. Rain.RDY. I think they’re pretty decent. $100 for waterproof high top with good support and traction. The other bigger name shoes could be different though. Adidas will always be something I go for on sale and use coupons. If you really want that look and high quality. It’s probably worth the Germany price. If not. Get the VN ones on sale.
