One more month to go until 1000 days. I think after that I have to give them some repairs…
…and then continue.

The number of the beast - 666 days of wear

Summer has not always been superhot this year.
So I got quite some wear in during the last months

Little new cracks to fix for my tailor atm. Guess this is ok after 978 days. Can‘t wait to receive them back.

1000 days of wear completed. 12 machine washes. Slim and heavyweight combined is possible. But not always fun.

I find it still superhard to take accurate pictures of overdyed stuff. Today, during sunset however worked well.
Also my plan to wear it all winter is going great. I use it as a top layer above a woolen sweater and deck vest on milder days, with a down vest on top on colder ones and sometimes even instead of a shirt inside.
Hard to fade, but I feel, I have cracked the bonding of the black dye a bit by now.

Gave mine its first wash the other day after over 2 years of wear. Couldn‘t be happier about the result. From now on I am gonna wear and wash the hell out of it.

Meanwhile I have 840 days down. While the front is holding up incredibly well, the backside is getting weaker in some areas.
Might have them repaired very soon to continue the wear journey.

@Jord @Marc2706 thank you guys. Indeed they are not up for sale yet. 1030 days and still a lot of life left in them.
@Jord @FlavourFade indeed they have 725 wear days and counting. I washed them around then times. I think I waited for 70 days until the first wash. All the rest did the denim and rather moderate wear. I wore them in the office only for the first 500 days.
Great catch @Jord Maybe I should put up my „Worn a few Times“ pair for sale too?

Just got some heavy damages fixed. Now I am back in them.
725 days and counting

Not fitting to the SBG, but to the latest arcs conversation: Iron Heart was doing the exact opposite with the PIH5DCT by using a baby blue and a white thread. Super contrast when new. Almost hidden when the surrounding fabric reaches the same colour.

@don_pipone I cannot deny, that I had similar pictures in my head when typing this
@don_pipone I would not go for 555 on new jeans either anymore. However, I have to cope with them as they are not totally worn out yet. 10 years ago when I bought them, they could not be skinny enough. Now I have to pay the bill:-)
And somehow especially on black jeans I still like the slim cut for a change. Certainly not for everyday
@don_pipone yeah man. This is why I prefer tonal arcs. You can make them really pop by fading the surrounding fabric
@FlavourFade Thank you man! Should be 6 or 7 machine washes. Another one due soon when it comes to repairing again
