Honourable brothers and sisters, people of the denim taste,
It is joyous to read your comments and greetings. The power of this jacket and this forum combined... I have never experienced it elsewhere. I haven't met anyone of you in person (except maybe the guy at Brund, haha). Just felt like sharing a little piece of my heart. As an actor one of the most difficult things for me has been to stop comparing myself to others. To not feel that I am a failure because my peers land amazing carriers, star in feature films and even in my daily theatre life, my friends getting the parts that I really want. To realise that I am myself, that we all have different personalities, lives, stories, battles.. I find the most rewarding thing is to be yourself fully. So one of the great things about this project is I am doing things I have never done before. I have not made these kind of clips before. Terje (photographer) and I are neighbours and have kids the exact same age. This project has made us really great friends. We laugh so much. Last week I asked him if he would be interested in IH denim, the fading and all that addiction hahah.. he said he was really curious after these weeks of filming. So I gifted him the unworn pair of 555-UHR that I bought from @George-Homme (thank you brother! Kindness goes around). Terje was stoked - said it was like putting on he-man jeans. A truly happy man. One of the things I love about this forum, and this whole lifestyle/hobby, is that I get to connect with you folks. To get new friendships when I've passed my 40s. And it feels really great to just run with a silly idea, go out and shoot it and show you all where I live. Also, living here has been a double edged sword, as my wife and I am from the south, and love the life on the beach with all our family and old friends close. But this is the life we live. And I love it. I fall more in love with where I live and the people that surround me now. A lot thanks to wearing this jacket for 18 days so far, knowing it will be passed on to other great people who will do their thing with it. Okay, this here got really long. Anyhow - just wanted to say thank you for welcoming me here, and for being so cool and genuine. Take care of yourself and thanks for being kind. JB

Love it! Makes we wish it was still cooler here in Nashville. I feel like we went from cool and chilly mornings to hot and humid overnight. I just packed away almost all my jackets a couple weeks ago!
