Nemesis - RIP

It is with a heavy heart, that I have to let you know that Nem or Nemisis, or @nemesisnow1200 , or just plain Gareth, died of cancer last Wednesday. His partner, Pauline got in touch via chat over the weekend.
I'll just copy the relevant messages here:
"Hello,,my name is Pauline,,I am nemesisnow1200s partner,,,,I wanted to let the Ironheart forum know that Gareth passed away on Wednesday morning."
"Hello Pauline.
Thank you so much for letting us know and taking the time to do so at this tragic time.
We are all so devastated at the news of Gareth's death. Gareth was a shining light on the Iron Heart forum. For obvious reasons, he had not posted much on the forum recently, but he did keep us appraised of his condition.
I think we all shared his certainty that he would come through the other side, such was his way.
I remember the first time we spoke, he phoned me up and introduced himself:
Gareth: "Hello, this is Nemesis........that's Nemesis1200 from the Iron Heart Forum"
Giles: "Yeah Gareth, I know, how many other Nemesis's do you think I know?"We had a good laugh about that.
I would like to announce his passing to the guys on the forum, would that be OK, and is there anything, in particular, you would like me to say?
Again, thank you so much for letting us know.

"Hello Giles,, thank you so much for replying and saying such lovely things about Gareth,, I just wanted to let you know because I know how much he loved Iron heart, I'm only just finding out how big his collection was! I'm afraid I'm not very good with words,, that was Gareth's department,, he told me his teacher thought he was going to be a journalist when he left school! He kept so positive all this time even with everything he had to go through,, but that was just him all over,, never getting down ,, always looking on the bright side. His other great passion of course were his bikes! Just as recently as November buying a new one! He did manage to go out on it once, I just wish he could have gotten strong enough for one last ride,, he said riding his bikes was when he felt most alive! Please let people know, he is already missed so much by so many,, but being such a unique person as he was is never going to be forgotten. A "ruffty tuffty biker type chappie" with a heart of gold always there to help people out however that may have been,,, always knowing how to say the right thing at the right time and giving good advice to anyone who needed it."

The list of great Welshmen is long. We just lost another one.
As I said to Giles on chat, and as his partner points out, he was unapologetic about his love for the bikes, speed and Iron Heart. That is a lot of joy, right there.
We all get the same thing, one life. No promises are made about its length or the quality. Nem’s might have been ended by a foul disease, but it was full of joy.

I don't recall communicating with him directly (though many times I have read through a thread I swore I had never seen before and then came across my own comment), but this is really sad to hear. I think he was here long before I was, when this forum was much smaller and so I can feel the pain from others before me.
