We know you love IH, but where do you think we can improve?

Thank you, @Giles for taking the time to elaborate the details that go into your decision-making and making a transparent announcement like this for everyone to be informed.
The feeling of security and trust that IH gives through, among other things, the "no quibble" return policy is personally what has made me purchase again and again from IH and only from IH. Now we can all just hope that some day, the return policy will return to normal for us EU customers depending of course on hopefully more positive political and economic developments.

within…..

My only improvement suggestion would be for the jeans’ pocket bags - to somehow make them even more indestructible. I carry my keys in my right pocket and also my knife clipped into this pocket and I typically will need to repair holes in this pocket bag long before anything else on the Jean needs any attention. The IH pocket bags are better than brands I’ve worn in the past, so not complaining - just throwing it out there as something to further make them even more “iron”.

I agree. I think this is the ONLY ‘flaw’ of IH jeans. It has definitely been brought up before. The best solution I have seen is light weight canvas. Amos, at Grease Point Workwear does this and it is amazing. I don’t see how changing the pocket bag material would be much of and issue unless it came down to fitting the material in to the sewing machines..

This may have already been suggested, but I would like two additional belt loops on my IH jeans. If not two, then at least one more where there are two loops closer together at the center of the back.
I make this suggestion after taking notice of the IH/Division Road collaborations (502 and 602) I own. Both pairs have seven loops. All my other IH jeans have five loops. I like the functionality of the additional loops.
Note, I suspect this wouldn't be done on some of the smaller waist sizes. So if you are looking for a place to start, waist size 34" and up please.

Lined rear pockets for the 17oz Selvedge Denim Natural Indigo jeans. I personally have to cut and iron an iron on patch into the rear pocket I carry my cell phone in of any jeans with unlined pockets (including the NIN) or a hole will wear through within three months and then continue to get bigger over time. I haven’t experienced this issue yet with the IH jeans with lined pockets and if it does occur it takes more than a year (for me currently). The lined rear pockets is typically one of the many advantages of purchasing the IH quality and of being “iron’. Not being negative here - the IH products are top notch - just throwing out a small area for potential improvement of a specific product. John
