Thinking of moving from UPS to DHL.  @Danny RnH did recently and says that it is a million times better.

Any views?

I have had 3 orders come from Danny recently using DHL and they have all arrived when they should of, so can give good reviews. I still like DPD's system of where you get a actually time slot. DHL just says by the end of the day

I have not had any bad experiences with UPS so far, can't say the same about DHL.

On the other hand we get DHL deliveries on a weekly basis and I would say 95% are without problems, if you ignore the "you where not home when we tried to deliver your parcel" thing that they all pull off from time to time.

The only delivery company I had no issues with is UPS (and I tried them all) so they definitely have my vote. Are you talking about DHL or DHL Express? The latter is superb the first is meh. (They are two separate divisions).

They have more reach now, but even as of five years ago, DHL was lacking in locations and reputation in the USA. I never see their trucks around here, and I think they share an office with UPS. But, I do live in a small town.

UPS works great stateside, not much experience with DHL personally.

UPS is great for me; the guy is usually here 3-4 days a week.  DHL has been some sort of issue every time I've been unable to avoid them.

It won't.  We're going to DHL and make a decision going forward based on empirical feedback.

UPS normally gets here 2-3 business days once shipped
DHL seems to take 1-2 business days once shipped (ordered yesterday, shipped today, be here tomorrow, that is FAST!)

Never had a problem with UPS, nor with DHL, so either way is fine by me.. As long as it's not FEDEX

DHL shipped Tuesday, arrived on Thursday. Very good.
