@Jett129 I can just hear you saying it  :D.

Got distracted before I read up, but yes as my grandmother would say, 'what a load of old tosh'

The devil is in the detail..

@AdamJ I guess it would have to be “Fucking Codswallop” to sound appropriate.

        @neph93:

I think some things are best left to our respective dialects. Codswallop is one. I don’t think I could ever pull off a «forget about it» with the same dismissive panache that a true New Yorker can.

I believe the correct spelling is actually "fuggedaboutit"  😉

Haha… it should be in the Merriam-Webster, just like that.

Hi, I just purchased the following belt in natural and can't wait to see it age.

            https://www.ironheart.co.uk/accessories/ihb-06.html

I really like the brass hardware a lot, however I have a lot of accessories that would go better with silver/nickel. I was wondering if Iron Heart made such a thing separately to swap out if I chose to?

            Thanks

Not in that style buckle, no.  Sorry….

Seems like the kind of aftermarket accessory that Good Art Hollywood should make…

Just joined the iron heart family with a pair of 777 XHS.  I thought i knew what i was getting into since i have some experience with heavy denim ie ONI secret, but these are a different beast.  Absolutely love them.  Just wondering how long till the denim softens up enough to stop making a noise while walking.

@alwaysbefading I love it when folks just dive straight in! I’d say the initial stiffness starts dissipating within a week or two, depending what you’re doing in them. My 888-XHSib are about 40 wear days in and it went a while ago.  Days 15-30 were spent building stuff in though, so that helps for sure.

                      Hi all,

I've been going back and forth between the extinct section and the different shirting threads and, it looks like, in the UHFs that the 127 was the first to use Aspero cotton? It was released in September of 2015 then the first iterations  of the 130s was Aspero in 2015. Am I missing one before that?

Just some fun facts to know 🙂

I'm pretty sure every UHF has been made with Aspero cotton.  I know the 107's and 126's were Aspero and I'm fairly certain every UHF before them was also Aspero.

You also had the 102's made from Aspero @misfitlife.  I'm certain there's more that some of the veteran IH fans can point out as well.

I was about to say the same thing. It’s been a thing since way before the 127, but wasn’t used in the marketing until then.

All UHF's are Aspero cotton.  We lost contact with the guy who wove them for us for a while, Haraki chased him down at another mill after I begged.  So the early version are woven on a different loom in a different mill, but using the same Yarn composition….

Thanks @Aetas, the 127 was the first UHF I saw the use of Aspero called out on, it's cool to find out that all the Ultra Heavies are Aspero.

All are indeed Aspero, we did not start using the term until we relaunched the UHF's and I found out exactly how they are constructed….

I was noticing how unusual the texture of my 87 was a few weeks ago after a wash and wondered about the Aspero at the time.

                                      Think it, be it.

So only Ga sale items are up for view on the site right now?

                                        Maybe so. Maybe not

GA items are not included in the sale if that is what you’re thinking about.
