Will the new ones have four hole buttons? Was that implemented to everything from now on?
I got the freenote portola black grey, but I am telling myself I need a 21oz fade to grey jeans. I guess it's justification enough, since they are completely different weight + I don't have any IH jeans yet.
Do the sashiko shirts shrink? Looking at XL and 2XL and probably between sizes. Would take the shoulder measurement of 2XL but the other measurements of XL gladly.
@hgering27 Totally agree. I think it's such a cool little company that makes great products and I am sure they are super busy. But yeah a little effort to communicate with customers and especially those who have preordered stuff would be a nice bonus.
I on the other hand am wondering if there is ever any extra that would pop up on the website for those who didn't preorder. Has it happened before? Or is it tough luck if you missed the preorder window?
I think there is someone selling this on Vinted and in Sweden ( I think its for EU only ) listed as Iron heart western shirt XXXL.
Got the Purist Brown on my Briar Oil Slick Red Wing Moc toes and a black pair on my black Whites C350-CS.
Can't use other laces after these they are too good.
You can probably expect to look forward to a live presentation only after all the FW25 stuff have rolled out?
Excited to see if there will be any new short sleeved shirts and whether we get more of the double front shorts. The double front denim shorts last season were an absolute home run.
Haraki posted some denim cap sample pics on instagram. I bet there is a demand.
@Eza Maybe a day, maybe a month or who knows. Apparently it is coming at some point!
@SamD I like the catchphrases like "sweet sweet watermelon". Something that could also work "Who is having duck for christmas?" Or any play on words with the
. Maybe.... Or Merry Christmas and a happy Duckin New year!
@WhiskeySandwich Thanks. The measurements are obviously gonna change a bit for the next run but if they are somewhat the same looks like its 888 and my usual waist size then.
Looking into 21oz and SBG. Does the 888 generally have the most relaxed seat of all the styles at the moment? I get so confused with all the high rise/ medium rise etc.
I have freenote portolas and they are a spot on fit with approx 13 inch rise. Looking at size 38 on these it's 12.7 which is close enough.
@rimaarts To that maybe someone with long term experience with this shirt can answer.
But generally as long as the forearm is not too tight to begin with, I believe the shirt will just soften up over time and wear. I think these denim shirts are quite rigid still after the first wash.
@rimaarts I had the same issue with IHSH-295-BB so ended up selling it. Some of the westerns I have noticed are just quite tight around the forearm. No experience with IHSH-292-IND though.
I got the Self Edge indigo CPO and that seems to work fine for me without these marks, even though after a long day of wearing it I might have a tiny mark on this area. I don't plan on stopping forearm training though
I just think if you didn't get this before washing maybe it will stretch out again?
@Mizmazzle
I agree that with these jackets if it is really windy you might benefit from a throat cinch/latch.
I have a mariner heavy and it does have one but it still leaves a tiny gap just above the zip so it even with it isn't windproof for ones neck.
Haven't tried on the N1 either so I wonder how well the latch/cinch seals the neck area.
Simple hack however is to just use some sort of merino buff or snood and voila. But I only need it if it's really windy anyway.
@pfw821 Not these. The 634S-SBG. These hopefully soon too.
IH-101J-BLK bloody nice. I'd seriously consider one or something similar. I like the freenote high low denim jackets that are a bit similar but they are really way too short for my taste.
