I have been very happy with my purchase even though I originally wanted the OD.

Might get a better idea under natural light. But you might see the indigo fade a bit here.

From Haraki's blog. So soon perhaps?
Reporting back after having these for about 2 weeks.
I was stressed because they were my first pair of IH jeans. Never had anything this heavy + never had anything with tag size 40 before.
After the initial soak and wash--> perfect fit and they just keep getting better the more I wear them. I absolutely love them more than any other jeans I own.
Measurements were quite close to that of my 38 Freenote Portolas and I can confirm that It was the right thing to do to trust the measurements rather than the tag size alone.
They are a little roomier but not baggy by any means.
One hell of pair of jeans!

Had to pay a visit to the local retailer just to dial in the fit for this one and ended up leaving with XXXL. After all it fit me much better than SP-Large. Finally.

Went ahead and got XXXL. First I thought that I might have been better off with SP-Large but after almost 2 weeks of non-stop wear It has stopped squeaking and maybe stretched a centimeter or two in some places. Will try to get as much wear before it gets too cold here because this is definitely a ''Wear with a t-shirt'' jacket for me.
Now very happy with my purchase and It's already a favorite after the initial quite brutal break in period.
Happy owner of two IH type 3s now, this and a SP-Large Superblack ( Both serve a purpose ).

This thing is absolutely ridiculous. Now I understand @Freeman

It is not warm enough here to wear it yet. Poor image quality sorry.
SP-large is great for me. Relaxed and cozy fit while wearing a t-shirt but not too much. XXXL could have worked, but there is always a risk it might be a little too constricting for me. Feels good and versatile. Length is also just right for a tall fella like me. With the bigger size you get longer sleeves, but they don't bother me. They feel just slightly shorter than on the 293, but not by a lot.
I am sure I could layer a hoodie under, but I plan to wear this like in the pic with a t-shirt. I would have been XXXL in the indigo based on the sizing.
Got mine earlier today and I just can't stop laughing and thinking about what have I gotten myself into
Already drying but damp still.

Apologies for poor image quality. This was not on my radar but I went and bought it anyway. I am happy I did because It is unique and the fabric feels amazing. XXXL here 6'2 and 220lbs ish.
Fit is good. Definitely just right on shoulders and sleeves.
It is a bit roomy at the bottom, but I tried the cinch thing and that makes it more fitted at least for me.

It's officially RJ-1 season here in the north now that Autumn is creeping in.
I had size XL previously but I either got some gains or it shrunk. Gave it to my father. Jackets typically get passed down the other way around heh but I am glad I could give something back.
Got an XXL in the spring to replace because let's face it it's an awesome jacket. I was first worried that I was actually between sizes but I like the extra room for layering. Like with the CPO here.

Can a second hand score get better than this?
I didn't think twice when I found it.
Excited to see if there will be any new short sleeved shirts and whether we get more of the double front shorts. The double front denim shorts last season were an absolute home run.
Daydreaming about the UnTucked trifecta. Hope it gets completed soon so I can get my first.
Looking forward to the measurements dropping on these. I remember Alex mentioning in the FW25 drop video that they would be looking into increasing the length a little bit.
I mean ofc its meant to be a short jacket but it would be awesome as long as it's not uber short.
@JerkStore How else is one to fade multiple shirts at the same time
Iron Heart has my respect and I am glad they are focusing on quality over quantity.
@Alex There is something about those pillows
