We get the Eagles/Chiefs Super Bowl rematch today. After watching The Chiefs in week one,it certainly didn’t look like they had closed the gap on the Eagles. Can’t believe The Eagles are only 1.5 point favorites, even if the game is in Arrowhead. Especially with Rice and Worthy out. At least I think Worthy is out.

@Jett129 agree with you on the eagles chiefs game. I think the line might be to get people to bet Kansas City because they “won’t” lose 2 in a row.
-
Hopefully they’ll tie.

@Mizmazzle total meltdown at the end

@scooter that potentially undersells the pickup, since White was 31 when he joined the Pack and this kid is 26. The risk here is having now $100MM tied up in two players and giving up two first round picks for the privilege. Gotta win like now for this to work out.
It was a ballsy move, and if I were betting on it I'd bet against it, but I respect the hustle.
Valid points. But, in my defense, I was simply trying to make more of a surface level observation. In the early '90s, after acquiring Favre, there just seemed to be that missing piece on defense, and getting Reggie to sign made all the difference. While, he may have been a bit older, he was still a game changer. He definitely had a knack for coming up with a big sack when the team needed it most...
I've got to agree, though. It's a very very ballsy move. More so the money, than the draft picks. I don't think I'll be able to get beyond my cautious optimism for awhile. It's looking good so far, though.

NFL - No Fvcking Logic
I think the Packers killed quiet a few suicide pools.

@Denimhead-0 I bet they did, might have been me haha.

Packers were really poor offensively, and they need to cut out some of the ridiculous penalties.
Bubble well and truly burst. -
What a wild day yesterday. Special and not so special teams chaos.
I would be remiss not to drag the NFL in a post here, so here goes: the fact that they reward underthrown balls with a spot penalty really compromises the integrity of the game’s fairness. The end of the half in last night’s game was a perfect example of this. Mahomes chucks the ball deep, DPI is called, and the Chiefs are awarded 52 yards on a play that had very little chance of generating an actual 52 yard reception. Nothing wrong with exploiting a stupid rule but it just isn’t sporting IMO for the rules committee to leave this “hack” open. This isn’t even the worst example by far. Getting the ball from we’ll outside the red zone at the 2 yard line for plays that had very little chance, often with an uncatchable ball flagged DPI in the end zone, is a frequent occurrence in the league. I like offenses to earn points, not to use cheat codes.

They’re doin’ it with smoke and mirrors and every day the walking wounded list grows. But 3&0 is 3&0.

Detroit is back and man I ain’t “Lion” I thought this might be an off year for them after they lost both of their coordinators, and the way they looked that first week in Green Bay. WOW! NFL schedule makers were envisioning two 3-0 teams when they slated Chiefs/Ravens for week 4,instead they have two 1-2 teams. Neither wants to go 1-3.
