@worn2fade That ended up being a really exciting game. I watched the second half on the Manningcast and Randy Moss was their guest for the 4th quarter,and he was great. It’s worth looking up and watching,especially if you’re a Vikings fan. I’m sure there will continue to be some bumps in the road,but I think both of these teams have found their quarterbacks.

Caleb is too slow working through his progressions and his accuracy isn’t good enough. It is possible that he could improve, but I think the Bears may have managed to get the worst of the top 5 NFL QBs in an historic class. Typical Bears luck.
Also typical Bears to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with meltdowns in every phase of the game. That bunk holding call on the drive when they finally got the running game cooking felt like a turning point, and indeed it was. An NFL PK has to be able to consistently hit 50 yard FGs and an NFL team has to be resilient enough to overcome setbacks like the holding call instead of simply collapsing on all fronts.
On the positive side, despite some rookie HC errors, Johnson’s scheme was working. Receivers were getting open, Caleb just wasn’t hitting them.

@Jett129 sounds good man I’ll check it out. I was pretty frustrated watching the game the first three quarters, but I knew after the half there was a high chance of the tables turning. I saw some grit in JJ - the after-game locker room video gave me goosebumps no lie. I feel like we hit gold. I know it’s only one game, but my hopes are high. JJ appears to know what he’s doing.

I think it’s the combination of him and the coach. I think the coach has him,and the rest of the team,going in the right direction.

We get the Eagles/Chiefs Super Bowl rematch today. After watching The Chiefs in week one,it certainly didn’t look like they had closed the gap on the Eagles. Can’t believe The Eagles are only 1.5 point favorites, even if the game is in Arrowhead. Especially with Rice and Worthy out. At least I think Worthy is out.

@Jett129 agree with you on the eagles chiefs game. I think the line might be to get people to bet Kansas City because they “won’t” lose 2 in a row.

Valid points. But, in my defense, I was simply trying to make more of a surface level observation. In the early '90s, after acquiring Favre, there just seemed to be that missing piece on defense, and getting Reggie to sign made all the difference. While, he may have been a bit older, he was still a game changer. He definitely had a knack for coming up with a big sack when the team needed it most...
I've got to agree, though. It's a very very ballsy move. More so the money, than the draft picks. I don't think I'll be able to get beyond my cautious optimism for awhile. It's looking good so far, though.
