@Alex Hope you feel better soon!

@Giles Hell yes! All the grape goodness always! Also also, I didn't realize the jacket you were wearing at the SE Party was a throwback Al's Attire one! VERY LEGIT! I thought we were getting a sneak peek at something from SS2026 lol

Forgive me if this has been asked before but, what exactly makes indigo special? We have black because it's just indigo that has been chemically treated... But how come we don't have red, greens, yellow dyed garments that fade like indigo does?
From research I understand that indigo is a "chunky" particle that just kind of coats surface of the cotton fibers, and thus doesn't penetrate and can be worn away. But why aren't there other dyes that have this property, or are they just not feasible/affordable/desirable?
-
@freepickin I suspect you're correct in that it's not desirable, indigo denim has been popular for a long time and there is likely little need to experiment and pay R&D costs to produce the yellow or green equivalent!

…which are more complicated and use more fabric than tube tops so I’m not sure why we don’t see more of those.
Well that paints a nasty picture

Better yet, ask Katie. I'm sure she's probably heard a few...

It is a color that has no obvious source in nature. You don't just take a flower or berry and boil it down into dye. The process of creating natural indigo dye is a complex chemistry equation. Even when the dye is ready it produces a green fabric that turns to indigo after you pull it from the solution. How the process was even discovered is a bit mind blowing. The story of indigo is pretty fascinating and definitely worth watching a video or two. Indigo is indeed a very special color.

Is there any easy way to know which IH products are available in Japan vs IH internal (only)? For example, are any of the CPOs available in Japan or are they mainly IH international?
-
Can compare with iron heart japan website. i think the 17oz natural indigo denim is only available for IH international and not available in japn
-
You will have to compare the 2 sites. There is so much we do that is "International" only, many of which started off as exclusive to us, but Haraki has subsequently started selling in Japan.
Tagsize 35 and 44 (and possibly 42) not sold in Japan.
Some denims not sold in Japan.
Many denim shirts not sold in Japan
Many UHF's not sold in Japan.
Many CPO's not sold in Japan.
Some cuts of jeans not sold in Japan.
Many Type III's not sold in Japan
Etc, etc, etc.... -
Hey, how do I search or more so find when new drops are due? Just now, the duck vest has dropped and when I hit the forum section on the vest it shows that it was known about several days ago. Yet, I constantly hit “recent” and unread topics trawling for what’s up and coming and I’m none the wiser. Is there a particular term I should be putting into the search bar to help find what’s coming or….?
Cheers. -
